Great locations, short walk from everywhere. Great staff, couldn't be more helpful, but the rooms were very hot with noisy air-con. still, a great little hotel and a great stay. Fitness room is basic, but more than enough to do an hour on the cross-trainer when you first get up

Stayed on a business trip - wanted to be close to Union Square and am Kimpton frequent guest. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Some nice touches (the lounge, the coffee, the wine....)and, if you like an intimate environment, a great base and, yes, eclectic. The rooms are not generously sized (especially bathrooms) so, if you have to travel with...

Excellent location, only a few steps from union square and all its shops, right in front of the chinatown gate. The cleaning staff was great, but the staff from the lobby not friendly at all. It´s a boutique hotel so you expect that people from the lobby at least salute you on your way in and out (and there are...

Excellent service, fun hotel and conveniently located! The eclectic rooms were on brand with the "fun and colorful" style of the hotel. They offer complimentary morning coffee and have a wine reception from 5-6 in the lobby each night. Conveniently located next to the China Town Gate and a few blocks from Union Square, the location is amazing and surprisingly...

This hotel is different. Amazing decorations throughout the hotel. Situated 20 metres from the China town entrance gate, 10 mins from Union Square and within walking distance of many places to eat. Coffee in the lobby in the morning and wine tasting every evening between 5 and 6 were nice touches. Room was a little small and had no natural...

Nice unique boutique hotel just off the centre of San Francisco. Located right at the gates of Chinatown it is convenient for public buses,HOHO buses and BART - close to Union Square. We recently had a 3 night stay in a "chambre", beautifully decorated, clean and well maintained but a little small in space. The bed was also small and...

This well located hotel is Funky, I just call it Tacky! The poorest choice in the Kimpton stable, at a very high price. The staff was very nice an extremely helpful. Breakfast is coffee in a crowded lobby. Wine at 5 pm in the same funky and crowded lobby.

We stayed here for a wedding in the San Francisco area. We have been to this city many times and have stayed in all types of hotels, but we liked this one the best. First of all, there was a block of rooms reserved for the wedding. When I booked our room a month ago, there weren't any rooms left...
