This hotel is conveniently located and has a decent (but pricey!) cafe next door, but smells terrible. The carpet in more than one room smelled like urine, and the stale/musty odor in the halls is unbearable. The sheets were yellowed and had hair on them....More
Villa Florence Hotel really is my right choice in this trip.

2. Room is very clean especially the towel and...More
Nice rooms (even all TV channels were static, which they had to later fix in both rooms). Check in process was terrible. Gave us keys, went to room, opened door and we have 1 bed, we needed two. Went back downstairs and showed them my...More
Hotel is in a very good central location for shops and transport, however, it can be very noisy outside from early morning.

Originally home to rallies supporting the Union Army in the Civil War, this grand square has become the city's premier shopping and entertainment district containing the largest number of upscale department stores, chic boutiques, art galleries and theatres in the city. It's a large open area where tourists and locals gather, watch cable cars and crowds go by, enjoy a snack, or plan their day of shopping and
sightseeing, If feeling the pulsating energy of the city is on your agenda, Union Square is the place to soak it in.

The room we stayed in was lovely. Not large but we were only there for one night so it didn't matter. The location is superb - walk out the door and you are almost in Union Square. There is no restaurant but you don't need one. San Francisco is full of restaurants very close by. You want to get out there and enjoy - not be stuck in the hotel. I would stay there again. The staff were very friendly and helpful - some of the best I have found in SFO. Good luck with whatever you decide
