This facility is ON A HILL!!! It is San Francisco after all, but be advised because my sister and I walked from the train and she does NOT do hills! Uber and taxis right outside the door so DON'T WALK! Now, the hotel was a timeshare my friend let me use so I cannot complain since it was FREE! The...

This place is so perfectly located. You are within a block of the trolly cars. The traffic noise wasn’t bad at all. We were in a top floor room and slept with the windows open. It’s not your typical Worldmark. It’s a little small and no swimming pool and few other amenities, but we knew this going into it and...

We stayed in a studio apt. Was compact but efficient. Unit has a queen bed, two chairs and a small table, microwave, and small refrigerator. No view. We requested a toaster. Chinatown is a short walk from hotel. Next visit. we will request a one bedroom unit. It has a couch. Small convenience market across the street for necessities. Price...

This place was surprisingly affordable during a busy convention week when rates were high. Like really high, as in astronomical. My room was very nice. Compared to my last stay in SF at the Sir Francis Drake, I felt my accommodations and view were nicer at the WorldMark. The small kitchen facilities (microwave, fridge, plates, etc) were very handy. The...

The hotel is located 1 block from the Chinatown Gate, 3 blocks from Union Square, and has easy access to bus transportation. Bus 30 takes you to the wharf, Chinatown, and Coit Tower. Seniors only pay $1.00 per ride, with a transfer thats good for 3 hours. The rooms are very clean, and personnel are friendly.

Away from the busy hotel area, but near BART line and Market, as well as Chinatown and great shopping on Market and Union Square. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms have a small table, a microwave and tableware so that you can have breakfast and lunch in the room if you wish. There's a small, friendly store catty-corner on Bush...

Rooms are small but clean and well set up. Your not in San Francisco to stay in your room. Great restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Personnel are friending and helpful. Wifi is available at a charge (maybe Worldmark will wise up soon that this is really a pain, should be part of our membership).

We stayed for almost 2 weeks and weren't harassed by the time share staff this time. The location of our room was a great improvement from the room that front the hotel much more quiet and relaxing. Valet is pretty costly $40/night. Try to find street parking if available, downside is that you need to move it in the morning...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique neighbourhood decorated with colourful shops, historic streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands, tourist shops, jewelry stores, fortune tellers, temples and restaurants come together to create a world unto itself in this historic neighbourhood.
