My wife and I had an outstanding three night first B&B experience at the Jackson Rose. This place is quaint, quiet and cozy. It was a great place to relax after a long hike on the Appalachian Trail and a morning of horseback riding. The owners are pleasant and wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed the daily gourmet breakfast while in...

My husband and I recently spent two lovely days at the Jackson Rose B&B. Phil and Deb made us very welcome with their delicious breakfasts, all home made with local ingredients, and inviting spaces. The parlor, dining room and TV room were all at our disposal. Our bedroom had all the conveniences we enjoy and their knowledge of the area very...

This B&B is located just on the outskirts of Harpers Ferry. (about a 20 minute walk from the center of the town) It's a beautiful old house that has been lovingly restored and perfectly decorated for the period. (yet with all the modern accommodations) My family and I stayed in the Garret Room on the top floor and we rented...

We stayed at the Jackson Rose for our first experience at a B&B. We were pleased with every aspect of our stay, from the warm greeting we got from Phil when we arrived, to the fabulous pumpkin scones Deb prepared with breakfast, to the accommodations in the Linden room. As a former Housekeeping Director at a resort property, I am...

My wife and I spent a delightful weekend in Harpers Ferry at the Jackson Rose B&B. Our hosts Deb and Phil were most hospitable and the breakfasts were fantastic. Deb is a great baker and we enjoyed a selection of fresh baked scones, muffins and biscuits in addition to fresh fruit, frittata's, and french toast with stewed apples. We were...

My husband and I just spent 2 nights at the B&B in the Stonewall Jackson room. We've been to B&Bs before but this was by far our favorite. It was very cozy and comfortable, and we enjoyed the historical aspect of the house. The food was fantastic! You certainly won't go hungry there! I also got a kick out of...

Deb, Phil & little Jack certainly make you feel at home. When sitting out on the porch you immediately start to hum "When Johhnie comes marching home" because Stonewall can come down the street any moment. Tasty breakfast and good advice on how to enjoy the sights of Harper's Ferry and West Virginia. Highly recommended.

If you enjoy history, this bed and breakfast is your place. Stonewall Jackson made his temporary headquarters here and slept in an upstairs bedroom. Within walking distance is charming Harper's Ferry, loaded with history (the site of John Brown's insurrection) and interesting shops and restaurants. The setting, with rivers, mountains, and Civil War period buildings, is lovely. Breakfast at the...
