While in Moab in Oct. 2016 we were looking for a place to stay for a couple nights. We happened on Hotel Moab Downtown. Even though it was under reno we had a great room, enjoyed the Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and were able to come back to our room and have a great rest.

Very convenient on edge of lovely town of Moab. Looks a bit of an old jaded motel from the outside, but rooms upgraded and very clean. Overall the motel feels a bit souless but great for one overnight stay.

Good location and great breakfast next door. The room was very dated, furniture old and beat up. Deep grime on doors and the bathroom vent was filthy. The staff was great but the hotel needs a major redo.

Old property in need of major updates. Room not very clean, but location was great for restaurants in area and National and State Parks! I would recommend looking into other facilities in the area, although properties are limited in this area!

We needed a room for an additional night in Moab and walked around on a Friday night to explore. The female at the front desk of Hotel Moab was so accommodating. She had two rooms for Sunday night available and offered to show us the rooms since we had not researched ahead of time on line. It was a charming... More

Easy to stay, right on the main road. Clean rooms. We asked for second floor room as we always have"luck" with people who like to jump and we ended up having really good night sleep. No noise, comfortable beds. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room, but there is no restaurant in this hotel. There are many places to... More

First time in Moab. Like staying and eating locally so we gave it a shot haven't always had the best experiences but don't think that national chains should rape local communities . We were pleasantly surprised the rooms were clean and comfortable went to Arches and hiked all day (GREAT DAY) came in late they didn't double book our room... More

Be careful and lock up your valuables, or better yet, find another place to stay. We lost 2 pieces of jewelry while we were there. Didn't notice the second piece missing until our return home, first piece was reported to desk clerk who merely said she'd ask her staff and get back to me - hah!

Our room located at the further end of hotel and as result of it internet was less than slow. The room was typical motel size, but bathroom was large. Everything worked. Sleep quality very average because of soft mattress and small sized out of shape pillows.

Great location for whatever you are doing in Moab area. Most everything is within walking distance. No food available on site but more than enough choices within walking distance. Decent rooms and it was quiet. Plenty of Parking.
