The place smells. Its filthy. There a re bugs. The beds are ancient. 25 year old 14 inch TV. Very poor wifi. Basically everything was about as bad as it gets.
Too bad they rely upon a past reputation.

At some time this has been a top place but now is very run down.
Good enough for an overnight stay and economical in an expensive area, superb setting with lovely views and only 15 minutes walk to the main street.

Motel is very very tired. The room was large but that's about it. Our air conditioning unit had a peculiar unpleasant odor. The towels were thin and small. Poor John Wayne. Don't eat the sweet rolls for breakfast. yuck

Yes there is. The hotel is old but each room had their own adjustable unit for Ac and heat. Hope that helps. Ours also had a mini fridge, microwave, and a separate vanity area which super helped to speed the getting ready... More
