We have been traveling to Moab for approximately 15 years and have stayed at a number of RV resorts in town. Portal RV Resort, owned and operated by a husband-and-wife team [Jane & Doug] stands alone in our mind as the #1 RV resort & campground in town. Recently, we invited guests to stay with us so we rented one...

This campground is great. It is so clean. The people at the office are so nice and very helpful. They just put in new showers and they are wonderful. They are keep clean. Its nice to take a shower sometimes out of the RV. You meet people that you saw the year before. It is a busy place and sometimes...

We were nearing Moab with a small trailer. My husband called about 1/2 hour ahead of their closing to get information about this RV park. He also gave them our credit card number and was told they close at 6:00. We wrote down wrong park and went to the one we thought we booked. Called back 2 minutes after 6...

We've been coming to Portal for the past six years or so, staying on the resort side with our motorhome and tow. The staff is friendly and the facilities are clean. Some of the premium sites have a pergola, which is really nice for hanging out and enjoying the views after a long day of riding. We always call at...

Thank you for staying with us. We were disappointed by the review you sent. our email confirmations confirm dates that are booked with us and if these are not looked at when booked.....people can forget what dates they booked and blame the RV park or staff. Sorry about the pergola as most owners were in using their sites with pergolas...

The nicest RV campsite in Moab! The staff has been so friendly and accommodating, the property is beautiful, and we have been so comfortable here. Our kids loved the little canoe pond and playground! It was nice to have something active to do after a long day on jeep trails. I loved being able to wash our clothes in the...

So we've stayed in campground about 15 times from 08-16. Made 2 res on Feb 1 for March 17. Told them we'd cancel one as we got closer. No problem. Then, 12 days before our trip, they cancelled our res and "band" (supposed to read "banned" ) us from the resort due to a "ruckus with the owner last year"....

We spent a few nights at Portal in August of '16. We were delighted at our stay. The facility was very clean, the sites are level with hook-ups just where they need to be. Although shade is at a premium in this part of the world, there were several sites with trees providing either morning or afternoon shade. The campground...

We chose this RV campground due to the fact that it was a site situated farthest from Hwy 191. When compared to others. Unfortunately the property is in an off season state of upkeep. We spent three nights at this facility and the bathrooms were never serviced. Trash was overflowing in the bathroom receptacles on our departure date. The shower...

Beautiful RV resort. They have many restrictions but it helps keep everything nice so we feel it is for the benefit of everyone to enjoy the campground to heed the restrictions. They accept late model 5th wheels within the Motorcoach Resort. The bathhouses are beautiful! There is a lovely pool and hot tub altho we did not use them this...

It's a perfectly fine place to stay, but there are far better. First of all, there is a division between people who own RVs and those who are renting. And if you are renting, you are banished from anything good in this park. The portable showers are a disgrace. The bathrooms are adequate.
