First the positives...the room was very clean; the motel is adjacent to the Moab greenbelt and is dog friendly and quiet; the front desk staff are friendly and accommodating; price is cheap The negatives...rooms are dark with very poor lighting; one of the lamps in our room had a frayed cord and began shorting out while we were there (!);...

Decent enough to crash. Price fits the rooms. Overall feel is dark and cold with the gray paint, but it was comfortable for the night. I would stay here in the spring and fall when there is more natural light. Front desk staff are friendly and I believe they do care.

the motel is situated off the main drag, so it's very quiet. the room is a bit tragicomic. it has a stripmall office feel to it - from the acoustic tile to the wall-to-wall carpeting combined with the typical old motel look and feel. we only had one little window providing natural light. every time you flushed the toilet, it...

We've stayed at this great little motel in Moab several times. It's our go to place for our trips to Moab and all the great outdoor recreation around there. It's a bargain on price, clean, modern rooms that are pet friendly. The owners are like old friends and very helpful with local info and tips where to eat, directions etc....

We had a group of hikers here in May, 2013. We had 6 rooms, and were very happy with them. They had refrigerators (I think one room did not). We loved the location. Off the Main drag of Moab (which I've stayed on three times, and tends to be very noisy). This is a block away; and right next to...

We stayed here in May and were very pleased. The staff was helpful at check in. It is right downtown so you can walk to dinner locations. Nothing special about the rooms-it looked like a typical hotel room but it was clean. The pool was refreshing and clean. They have lots of great books about the area you can read...

The Rustic Inn's pluses are that the staff is helpful, friendly and laid back. Also, the location is perfect-just off the main street so you can walk to restaurants and shops. Moab's a cute town to spend a night or two in. We didn't use the pool since it was raining, but it looked like it could be very inviting...

Stayed here during the US shut down. The man at reception was really nice and tried finding alternative places for us to visit. The location is in the middle of town and the rooms are basic but nice. If we were lucky to visit Utah from the UK again we'd come back to Moab to see the parks and stay...

Stayed in 1 bedroom apt downstairs. Nice to have separate kitchen/sitting area. Full kitchen. Dark room as there were no lights to help when sitting on the sofa, could not read paper at night. Very cold room, tile floor is COLD. Wifi irregular, constantly going out and back in. You can hear water running through the pipes when neighbor or...

It is rustic but clean and far cheaper than any of the other hotels I found available when we traveled (October 2013). It is just off the main street as other reviews have stated and for us that was perfect. No I didn't think that using the kitchen sink was good but was only there one night so didn't really...
