At Wisdom you really get a feel for what this country once was - real people, real working ranches - the real West. We loved the cabin experience at the Nez Perce Motel. It had a wilderness style that made you appreciate being at Big Hole. It also felt comfy like being in a home - had a rocking chair....

We stayed at the motel during our ski trip to Lost Trail Powder mountain. It was warm, clean, and very roomy, which was perfect for us since we had lots of gear. Brenda (owner) was very friendly and helpful. Refrigerator and microwave in the room were also a plus. We will definitely be back next winter.

For such a small room with nothing provided and hard -to-find staff when you need them, I found this motel far too expensive and not worth the stop. If the Pioneer Lodge down the street has rooms, I HIGHLY recommend staying there instead.

Nice motel for travelers or area activities. Western style room motif and very clean and fresh; well maintained. After so many places in serious decline on our bicycle trip, this was a welcome upgrade. Reasonably priced. Limited businesses in area, but a nearby restaurant and a saloon both offer food.

I have stayed here twice on fishing trips. The rooms are on the small side but very clean. Good wi-fi, satellite tv, friendly owner (grouchy employee is gone). Nice restaurant about a block away. Good food, service and reasonable prices. I love the fishing on the Big Hole river. I plan on making regular return trips. I would recommend it...

Nice Ma and Pa place-reasonably priced, clean and quiet. After what we had gone through at the Days Inn and Super 8 in Lolo and Hamilton, Montana, the 2 nights before, it was a relief to find this small gem. Not fancy at all, but very comfortable and nice people. Very small town--but great pizza at the local "saloon"

Stayed at the Nez Perce on our way from Big Sky to Lost Trail ski areas. Found the Nez Perce to be comfortable, clean and very reasonable. Even got 50% off discount tickets to Lost Trail. E-mail communication when I needed to adjust reservations was a little slow, but did not cause a problem. Also, don't miss pizza at the...

Has everything you need. Comfy bed, TV, full bath, fridge and micro. It's spotless. We've stayed here several times through the years for the purpose of fishing, hunting, or looking for crystals. We recommend it.

Stayed here because it was close to Big Hole Battlefield. Room was clean and cute with little things like horse-shoe hooks inside the front door. We had two beds, and each bed was comfortable and had three nice pillows. A real plus! Room had everything we needed, TV, desk, refrigerator, microwave. Price was very reasonble. The only thing missing was...
