Owners and staff where very kind. Free breakfast. Clean rooms. Room service was very good. We will stay here again when we come to Gunnison. Rooms are recently remodeled. Pool and hot tub is nice after a long day.

We stayed in Gunnison one night and opted for this inexpensive hotel. We were able to find it easily, the room was clean, neat, and big. Although a little older, it was in no way shabby. We had a wonderful time at this hotel, the staff were especially nice, the location really good - it is inexpensive although a little...

They failed to reserve the correct rooms and, instead of providing two rooms each with a King Bed, provided one room with 2 Queens and one room with a Full Bed. After viewing the reservation confirmation showing 2 King Beds, the front desk person suggested that this was a "First-world problem." Well, that's obvious, but besides the point. They failed...

First of all.... the check in was amazingly smooth. The man who checked us in was so friendly and hospitable. The whole place is very clean. The room was exceptionally clean, roomy, and well appointed. For the price you would be hard pressed to find better. Great value. Towels and linens were of good quality. Bed was very comfortable.

I booked a room here when taking a college visit with my son. It's a great mom-and-pop place. While it's dated in many ways, rooms have been updated and the beds/bedding were very comfortable, The room was spotless. Derek at the front desk is about as accommodating as they come! I woke up to the small of waffles and coffee;...

We booked a room at this hotel so we could stay after finding the Soldiers Stone. When we entered it didn't take long to get the key. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. We entered the room and we had gotten a two queen bed room with a roll away bed. The room was spacious for our 7...

Charge almost as much for your pet as your average, basic, very clean rooms. My $79 rate became 120. I am very spoiled by those who say pet friendly NOT charging . You sign a release and pay only if there is a problem. LaQuinta is the best at this. Not a choice in Gunnison. There are lots..so shop and...

The Alpine Inn was a pleasant surprise. It was a clean, well kept hotel. The owners were very nice and accommodating with changes we needed to make because of travel plans. Breakfast was good, the sausage was actually fried like it should be and not sitting in a tray of liquid like you find at most of the chain hotel...
