We have stayed at the Haywood Park Hotel several times on trips to Asheville. It is a beautiful property. It is actually a restored department store. Some of the rooms we have stayed in are absolutely palatial. It is amazing to stay in a room that is the size of an apartment with separate living/sleeping areas. Some of these rooms...

Even though my boss picked the hotel for me...I feel very spoiled! What a great historic hotel!! The history is evident through out, a very unique experience! From the moment I checked in, with champagne in hand, I explored my spacious room with a great look down to the street below, all a buzz as only you can find in...

We were very pleased with our recent stay. The hotel and staff are exceptional. The history of the hotel was interesting. There was not one negative thing about this hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. They were very clean and had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. Loved the chocolate at turn down. The breakfast was delicious...

The location is fantastic for quick strolls to the best sights, shops and restaurants. Our room was large, lovely and well appointed and we enjoyed the city views. The service staff were cordial and accommodating and, while the "included" breakfasts were appreciated, the mall-style "to go" cafe provided adequate food though the atmosphere was less then charming. The hotel was...

Came to Asheville with my husband for a nice getaway. Decided upon the Haywood Park Hotel because of the location, concept, and reviews. The hotel was in a great location but was very outdated, not clean, and thus overpriced. It is a great concept, but needs some TLC. Our bathtub had leftover hairs and grime from previous users, gross. Will...

The Haywood Park is located within walking distance to all the best restaurants and things you want to see in Asheville. It used to be a department store and only has 33 rooms, but they are large. Although they have valet parking, you can park your car in the garage upstairs and drive in and out without having to use...

My wife and I spent four nights at the Haywood during the first week of November 2015. The hotel has character and is centrally located with free parking. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. Free breakfast at the cafe is more than adequate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

It is a well known fact that the hotel is a gem, we have enjoyed every stay. What you may not know is how great the spa is. My wife loves to get a facial at the hotel also. I loved how smooth and soft her face felt afterwards. A great day is a facial, then relaxing in the nearby...

We stayed for two nights in a superior king room. Everyone from valet to reception to housekeeping was very warm and friendly. Great customer service. Umbrella in the room. Chocolates at night. Water upon arrival. At check-out, water and granola bars for the road. Note: We also stayed two nights at the Omni Grove Park Inn which I have reviewed...

Haywood Park is a gracious and spacious small (33 rooms) hotel in downtown Asheville very close to shops and restaurants and with the off/on trolley right outside the door. Facilities were excellent with both a large soaking tub and walk-in shower as well as loofah and toiletries par excellence. The converted 1920's department store meant large lobby seating on every...
