Detailed Reviews
Front desk staff was very helpful, efficient and even suggested best place to purchase groceries. Room was large. The location is a bit outside of downtown Asheville but is quiet and peaceful. The breakfast is very limited with pre-packed bars, waffles and juice that tasted very watery.

The only thing that saved this stay was how awesome (Baxi?) was, and I’m sorry I cannot remember how you spelled it. I noted a 3pm check in time, we were there about 3:15 and maids were running behind. 92° out, we were wanting to let the kids enjoy the pool but found out the pool was closed. And there’s no breakfast included, since “Covid19” yet the restaurants have been open for months and employees weren’t masking- so something tells me hotel management just doesn’t want to supply breakfast. $125 a night doesn’t reflect any discount on account of no breakfast. Baxi upgraded us to 121 with the mini fridge and microwave, we appreciated that. Unfortunately the door lock didn’t work so he had to manually unlock it for us each time we needed in. He was on top of his game with that!! Beds are comfortable and clean, but there was black hairs and dust on the toilet tank, which means that’s not been wiped recently. The shower curtain rod is coming down, slopes downward so the curtain falls down in the center and water floods the bathroom floor. Slow drip in the sink. Thank you to Baxi for being awesome, a larger chain hotel would love a hard worker who’s friendly and professional like him. But hotel management needs to get maintenance to fix issues in bathroom, get the pool running, supply breakfast again and get a housekeeping supervisor to check rooms into ready after a housekeeper. The cost didn’t equal value here. If it wasn’t for Baxi, this would be 1 star review.

Very friendly and helpful staff! They were very willing to accommodate our service animal. Pretty good breakfast, clean rooms. The location isn’t the best for walking but tons of restaurants and bars and breweries are within a 10 minute drive.

The wonderful staff, the cleanliness of all parts of the property, comfortable bed, price, & location make this the perfect place to stay in Asheville. I have no complaints of any kind about this motel. Plus the outside door for every room avoided being near others in the hall/elevator & having witnessed the carpet cleaners/sanitizing crew gave me peace of mind during this Covid problem. Stay here!!

My husband, myself, and our 17 year old son stayed here 1 night because it is located only 15 minutes from Mars Hill University. Check in was easy, and the gentleman working the front desk was very nice. He recommended a really good restuarant that night that my family enjoyed. We had a little issue, that's still kind of puzzling. When we returned from dinner there was chewed up pieces of bread all in the bathroom floor that wasn't there when we left. I called the front desk and he moved us to another room right away.
The bathrooms were clean (besides the mystery bread...lol) and the water pressure was good also. We had a small bar of soap on the tub, but no other products like shampoos or lotions.
The beds were comfortable enough, just a little firm. Some people like that though!
Check out was also a breeze and again the person working the desk was very nice and polite.
Breakfast was what you expect with continental breakfast. Bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, coffee, and juice. We just had juice and a yogurt since we would be eating at the college.

Thank you so much for taking time out to review your stay and give us so feedback. The bread in the room was just as puzzling for me and it was for you. This is way I didn't hesitate to move you to a different room so you would be comfortable. We had our pest control come out the next day to see if he could figure out the mystery bread and he didn't see any signs on rodents of any type. However, I ask him to set up traps, just in case, because of all the cold weather we have been have and I know they try to get in a warm area in the cold nights. I have checked the traps everyday and still nothing. So the mystery bread is still just a mystery. I hope you stay with us again because we pride ourselves in making sure our are 100% satisfaction no matter what we have to do.

But the service, value and cleanliness makes it one of the best deals in Nashville.TY to Tamannae at check in. She was fantastic! The temperature dropped suddenly so she made sure to offer us extra blankets and brought them herself. I was truly surprised by how much the room and the property and the service exceeded my expectations. Staying here was a few dollars more than this awful low end, hotel chain, not far from this property I also got their lowest price and booked the room late afternoon gor same-day! I highly recommend this Day’s Inn. Thanks for such a terrific stay!

We were in Asheville for business and we found this Days Inn on the hill a delightful respite for escape and relaxation. Management was caring, kind, personable and professional. Last time we stayed here a few years, there were some problems. We were reluctant to make reservations, but we did nevertheless, just hoping we have a few better memories. A wonderful surprise. As soon as we walked into the lobby, we saw renovations; and was more than paint; the pleasant joyful greetings made it clear there was an attitude change. The continental breakfast was fine and when something ran out, the diligent staff quickly rectified the situation.

I have stayed there times at this location over the past year. The rooms have been clean and in good condition. The breakfast is merely adequate , with limited selection and variable upkeep. The location is quiet, not subject to traffic noise or noise from neighboring businesses. This has been the only non-$$$ hotel I have found on this side of town and it is a good choiice.

This older hotel was very clean and comfortable for our visit to UNCA. It is less than a 5 minute drive to the campus. The breakfast is limited to waffles, fruit, cereal and packaged foods. It was adequate for our needs and the price is excellent. A great value for the money.

We booked a king size bedroom for 1 night on 14th September via booking.com. But when we went to the room after checking in at the front desk, then only realized they have given us a room with 2 full beds. They didn’t even bother to inform us that they were going to give us a bedroom with 2 full beds. Then we went and requested to give us the king size bedroom as we paid and confirmed by the hotel. But the lady at the front desk said they can’t change it. And she talked with manager also, still they couldn’t give us what we booked. They couldn’t manage to give a resolution. She was so rude and unprofessional. She doesn’t know how to communicate with customers. They ignored us. They didn’t even apologize..So, we didn’t have an option and We, as a couple had to sleep on 1 full bed. That’s too pathetic. Not fair at all.
And bed was not comfortable, hard. Woke up several times during sleep because of the uncomfortable bed.
And they mention that they have breakfast. But no many options. There were only few fruits, few options from cereals and coffee only. Worst experience!!
We went to spend our weekend in Asheville to relax our mind. But they made it bad. Very bad experience!

No waffle maker. They have cereal, toast, pastry, oatmeal, yogurt, juices, coffee & milk. Plenty to eat, nice budget motel.
Only service animal is allowed, no other pets allowed. They will ask for papers to prove your animal is a service animal so have them.
