Comfortable stay at Element! The room was clean and comfortable, we had a king bed room. The room is equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, dishes and silverware, and water filter. The evening reception and breakfast were great! The reception features local beer and wine, small bites like cheese and baguettes. Breakfast had eggs, pancakes, bacon, yogurt and a few other items. The second floor area is modern and clean. All the employees were friendly and helpful. We did walk to downtown which is about 15-20 minutes and is a nice walk to get some exercise but not for those with any mobility concerns.
Overall, a wonderful stay close to downtown I would definitely stay here again and recommend the Element! I chose this property based on value and location.

This is my first stay at a Marriott Element brand hotel. It will not be my last. The hotel is open and airy feeling. We were upgraded to a larger room with a kitchenette. The room was big. The beds very comfortable (I especially liked the heavier blankets and the linens). The kitchen had a two burner stove, decent size fridge and a dishwasher. Two (low end) bikes are available for use (no fee), helmet and lock available with bike. wine, beer and cheese reception at 5 and a very nice breakfast all included with the room. Besides the standard scrambled eggs with some type of meat product they had a lovely and fresh english muffin with avocado and a fried egg on top. Also had some type of mini egg frittata with tomato. Oatmeal, fruit and yogurt also available. Nice pool and small gym. Staff very helpful. The lobby is small but there is a large lounge on the second floor and a terrace on the top floor. A bit of a walk into the bar/restaurant area of downtown Ashville but doable.

My wife, two Chow Chows and I stayed at the Element Asheville Downtown for three nights last weekend for a family Christening. First and foremost, everything about our hotel stay was fabulous. The employees from the front desk to the breakfast staff to the cleaning staff were so courteous and accommodating. Our two 'Queen Beds' room with kitchen was so spacious and clean that our dogs had so much room to lay out. The bed was so comfortable that that I slept better those three nights than at home. The bathroom and shower were terrific and they didn't skimp on the quality of their toiletries and number of towels. The breakfast each morning had a wonderful variety of items to enjoy and the dining area was spacious and clean. During our stay, we even did laundry and their LG washers and dryers were top notch. The seventh floor terrace area added to the wonder of the hotel and the view of the mountains was beautiful. We plan on returning to the Element every time when we visit our son, daughter-in-law and new grandson in Asheville. Thank you Elements' staff for the memorable stay.

My Family stayed here for a week and were consistently pleased with the accommodations, friendly and attentive service, healthy breakfast daily, rooftop observation deck, and walking distance to the bustling downtown area without the noise that goes with it! There is also a shuttle that runs Fri&Sat 3pm-10pm. The driver, Bill, was wonderful and even took us to the grocery store and back! One of the most impressive elements of this Element was the impeccable cleanliness and overall serenity of the main spaces. This property allows pets and we saw many smiley happy dogs and yet all areas of the Hotel smelled clean and fresh. There is even a small fenced in dog area outside! The Staff was awesome! The Manager SCOTT was present, personable and attentive. From Housekeeping to kitchen, everyone was helpful and nice. Two employees really stood out to me on a daily basis: WES & NATE. I observed them working fastidiously and thoroughly checking the breakfast supply, keeping up cleanliness consistently, and doing all with a wonderful customer-forward attitude. If there was one drawback it has to be the pool. There is a nicely appointed work-out room with a good selection of machines that is adjacent to the pool. The pool itself however seems an afterthought. It is extremely small and cannot work for more than a couple people at a time. Plus it is indoors and just feels claustrophobic. Otherwise, totally great stay. We will definitely be back so long as it stays a reasonable economic choice. Thank You!!!

I was part of a wedding party that stayed at The Element during Father’s Day Weekend. The rehearsal dinner was to take place on the rooftop. The staff was thrown for a loop when a strong storm moved into the area. They handled the move to the second floor reception area with amazing ease. The room was transformed into a gorgeous space that was not only inviting for guests but also, accommodating for vendors. The two staff that set the tables were focused on the smallest of details and made sure everything was perfect. The airline situation across the country created havoc for many of our guests. In the end many missed a day or more of their reservation and a few were just not able to make it at all. The hotel did not charge the groom’s family for late cancellations. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The location is perfect for all destinations in Asheville. The views from the rooftop are extraordinary.

Having stayed in hotels all over the world for 40+ years there are certain aspects of a hotel stay that can make or break it. The location of this hotel broke the stay. It is a beautiful new property with many wonderful amenities, but the noise from either or both of the roads that surround it was awful. The hotel actually makes white noise machines available to guests to try and drown out the noise. Sad to sat that we would not stay here again.

The noisiest room I have stayed in since I was forced in to an oil field motel in the 1970s. Located smack dab between two freeways so that if you are anywhere in rooms ending 20-26 you will here lots of tricks downshifting and braking most of the night with the only chance for sleep between 2 and 4 am. In top of that you will be treated to a breakfast which can only be described as minimal and sub par when compared to Hampton Inns, Holiday Inns etc. All cold food save toast and some sort of egg puff which admittedly was luke warm. The coffee is great. To cap off your experience you will be asked for your credit card and later be charged with no explanation and no way to remove the charges except through dispute. The garage parking is convenient. Yo describe this place as “downtown” would be an exaggeration as it is a seventeen minute/ plus one mile walk to the main downtown avenue.

Very happy with the new Marriott property design and amenities. The fresh breakfast choices make it worthwhile for me as a business traveler. So nice to have amazing coffee and healthy breakfast options on the road. Rooms are relaxing and offer fridge, flatware/dishes, and a filtered water option IN ROOM.
My only fault was lack of plug ins at the desk for computer and jet pack. Only one plug in available and lack of ice machines on the floors. The do offer free small ice packs at front desk, but love to refill my yeti travel mugs and small cooler I travel with.

My husband and I had a wonderful 2-night stay at this hotel that opened just a few months ago. It’s beautiful, clean and fresh. We felt very COVID safe. Check in as well as checkout went very smoothly with Geri, and both times she greeted us with a warm smile. We were upgraded to a 1-bedroom king suite with more than enough room to spread out, a comfortable bed, well appointed kitchenette, and lovely views of the Mountains. The 7th floor rooftop deck is the perfect place to enjoy a beverage and watch the sunset with amazing views of the Asheville skyline as well as multiple mountain peaks. Breakfast was delicious with healthy options served by hosts Luke and Nate who were kind enough to answer my questions and make sure all food items were well stocked and tables kept clean. Parking in the garage was easy and convenient. As we were loading our car to leave, I realized I left my jacket in our room. As I was heading back to the room, Geri met me in the parking garage with my jacket where housekeeping had brought it down to her. Excellent teamwork and customer service! We are already looking forward to our next visit to Asheville and stay at this hotel.

We usually stay at the Renaissance Asheville but we decided to try a new hotel and it was a very pleasant surprise.
Dyllan at the front desk checked us in. He was very welcoming and efficient. We were in room #711 Beautiful and clean . The view is top notch!!!
The hotel is new ( less than a year)
Coffee and tea station on the second floor Breakfast was delicious
Rooftop on the 7 floor has a 360 view of the mountain.
It is now our favorite hotel in Asheville.
