Very clean very sweet staff... spent night in blizzard conditions and still had a wonderful breakfast and a cozy heated room and tons of hot water. Gave me a special parking space out front so I could get out in the morning. 5 stars. Hospitality supreme.

We decided on Hill House because of the breakfast reviews and boy are we glad we paid attention. Two friends traveling together and we took the Battery Park room so we would each have our own bed. The little wall between them give just enough privacy. It is a small room but the windows make it seem larger. The Breakfast...

Wife and I were in town for two nights and booked the Hill House, and I couldnt have asked for anything better. The location is just outside of the "happening" area of Ashville, so plenty quiet and safe. The entire house seemed in great condition, and our room (S&W I think it was?) was wonderful. Even being near the main...

We found this place because it was the only one with rooms left that was walking distance to downtown. Not a nice walk, (under the highway and all busy streets) but it was walkable The rooms were quaint and the breakfasts gourmet. Asheville is a great location for hiking so we stayed two nights and were very comfortable. I must...

Hi Barbara, I wished that you had looked at the Hill House info folder in your room. It has maps of how to walk downtown and avoid the highways. Also, I think it was probably more of a case of Hill House being the only inn open on Christmas Eve and Day, rather than the only one not sold out...

Wife and I and another couple spent 2 evenings staying at the Pisgah apartment at the rear of the property. Accomodations were superb along with a first class breakfast. Inn is convenient to the downtown area and the Biltmore Estate. Hostess greeted us at checkin and made herself available if needed

My husband and I, with our adult daughter stayed at the Hill House. This was a birthday/Christmas present from our daughter to us. We have opted to do trips together where we can spend time as a family, build memories, and enjoy each other's company rather than buy "things" for each other. This was our first trip to Asheville. We...

This was the second time my wife and I came to the hill house for some time away from the hustle and bustle, but this time we brought our families along for the trip since the first time was so great! The rooms are all very unique, the food is always great, the people are friendly, and the location is...

We discovered this place a few years ago when we were looking for a place to stay in Asheville with our pups. We made a return visit over Thanksgiving this year. So glad we found Hill House! We chose the Pisgah apartment and it is the perfect spot for us--plenty of space, nicely appointed, and comfortable. This is set off...

Very relaxing and quiet. Inn keeper left me breakfast in the morning before I left for an early meeting. Wine in the evening with fresh baked cookies. Very close to Downtown Asheville. About 5 minute drive.

I tried my first solo trip to Asheville. It was wonderful and the Hill House had great accommodations. Breakfast was so creative and delicious each morning. This is a home away from home. I was able to chat with other guests but then I also had the privacy of my own room and bathroom. The staff was great. If you...
