I am literally writing this review while I sit at the desk in our room! Our room has a spa/sauna bath right in the bedroom, that already means five stars. Check out the pictures on their website, everything is as advertised. The hosts are wonderful. We were very near to all the places we wanted to visit, including the Biltmore....

We stayed at A Bed of Roses for our 1st anniversary trip to Asheville. The B&B was lovely inside and out. Our room (Revelle) was very Venetian and quite large. The bathroom was large as well. We had more than enough space for both of us. This was our first trip to Asheville together and we loved it. The Inn...

The owners did the best with what they have, and the breakfast was amazing!! The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the room was so small that I literally could not get out of bed on my side. There was no place to put our luggage, and the bathtub had a shower curtain completely on the inside,...

We wish you had told us that you were uncomfortable in that room when we asked why you were leaving early. We might have been able to switch you to another room or find another inn for you. You chose one of our smallest and least expensive rooms, but it is also our most popular. We have made several small...

Wonderfully decorated with care, A Bed of Roses is a comfortable retreat with a wonderfully Victorian note. The owners and hosts, Bill & Emily are fabulous. Breakfasts are served with a delightful air of formality: two courses on fine china. Guests gather around a table, share breakfast, and exchange stories. Christmas decorations really added to a magical experience.

We're so glad you enjoyed your visit. I particularly love decorating the inn for Christmas! A Queen Anne Victorian is so much fun to decorate.

The breakfast served at Bed of Roses B and B is a masterpiece and a true work of artistry. It is an achievement that delights both the eye and palate. The home will meet your expectations for Queen Ann style. A great B & B in Asheville should have abundant fireplaces, and a warm atmosphere, as this one does. It’s...

My best friend and I decided to take a last minute weekend trip to Asheville. Several of the hotels and B&Bs we checked were sold out for the weekend, but we were lucky enough to find a room at A Bed of Roses. The location was great - within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants, our room was clean...

My husband and I settled on A Bed of Roses, after being shocked by hotel prices of Asheville. The Oliver Davis room was intimate, charming and clean. It is up a narrow, almost secret feeling staircase, so pack accordingly if you choose this room. It's about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive from downtown. My husband and I...

We're so glad you enjoyed your visit. I can't take total credit for the breakfasts, though. Bill and I cook as a team! He's indispensable! Hope to see you here again soon.

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and A Bed of Roses absolutely set the tone for a relaxing opportunity to reconnect. Emily and Bill were such gracious hosts with a wonderful attention to detail. They love what they do and it shows in so many ways throughout the house. Breakfasts were an event in themselves, Emily is a tremendous...

Enjoyed a very comfortable stay in this charming Victorian B&B. Our friendly hosts were very helpful with directions and recommendations. Breakfasts were yummy and filling and beautifully presented. And our host was very accommodating of my dietary limitations. The inn is located in a residential neighborhood within a 15 minute walk of downtown shops and restaurants.

My wife and I celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary at this wonderful B & B. It was our first trip to Asheville and BoR was the perfect place to start it. Emily and Bill know so much about the area and were able to get us started on a great stay. Our room was upstairs in what may have been...
