My husband and I stayed here for a quick anniversary getaway and absolutely loved it! We stayed in the beautifully furnished and decorated York Imperial room, complete with gas fireplace and private balcony -- it was so cozy and wonderful to enjoy autumn in Asheville. It was close to downtown so we could even walk to dinner and shopping areas....

Located near downtown but in quiet neighborhood, this b & b offers a friendly sophistication, 3 course delicate, beautifully prepared breakfasts, and attentive, helpful service. The cherry on the sundae was Joshua, the innkeeper, mailing us a huge box of clothing we had left in our room. What a nice surprise; we were not even aware we had left them.

We have always tried to stay at B&Bs over hotels for several reasons. However, the hope of an awesome breakfast is the biggest attraction. The new owners at Applewood have elevated this experience to the highest levels possible. While the Applewood Manor Inn remains the same charming place that we have visited every year for the past 5 years, the...

This is a beautiful B&B that is close to downtown Asheville, quiet, comfortable, amazing common rooms, and welcoming hosts. Then there is breakfast...carefully crafted from local sources and their own garden, don't expect the run of the mill omelets and potato scramble! You will be treated to three courses of breakfast that are many steps above. We stayed in the...

This is one of the best Inns in Asheville to stay at! We would HIGHLY recommend Applewood Manor! It is a nice little hike to downtown or to a great coffee shop, not to mention the restaurants that are walking distance!

Joshua is an excellent host. We stayed in the Granny Smith room and it was well appointed, comfortable, and modern. Spending the evening on the balcony just outside our room was fantastic. The breakfast the next day was 3 courses but light and fresh. Tucked away but minutes from downtown Asheville...Tip: There are several nooks to hide away and read/write/relax.

This is a super awesome B@B.Cannot think of a better place to stay when visiting Asheville .It is located only 10 minutes from downtown but at the same time you have the feeling that you are back in the 19th century in a beautiful cottage with the most attentive and competent staff. The breakfast is out of this world prepared each...

We stayed at Applewood Manor to celebrate our 10-year anniversary! It was wonderful! The food at breakfast was beyond anything I expected; the owners are caring and helpful; and the manor was spotless. We enjoyed relaxing in the common areas and exploring the gardens.

We booked this through Groupon, so I wasn't expecting anything exceptional- boy, was I wrong! We were welcomed so warmly and my only complaint is that we couldn't visit longer! This is the only time I've ever been tempted to stay at my lodgings instead of exploring a new city! Food was very tasty. Decor is warm contemporary. I suggested...

We have stayed at a number of excellent bed and breakfasts, but this was a cut above. We originally planned to stay two nights, but because it was so nice and convenient, we extended our stay by two nights. Josh was the perfect host, making every guest feel welcomed at at home. Breakfasts were three courses, creative and beautifully presented....
