I knew from my initial reservation on the phone speaking with James and the efficient follow-up emails that my experience was already off to a great start.
The minute we drove into the inn, our experience was outstanding. Susan was there to greet us, give...More
Carolina Bed and Breakfast was our home away from home for our daughter's wedding weekend in Asheville. It couldn't have been more perfect. We filled all of the rooms and 'took over' the b&b. We ate, drank, laughed, cried (joyful tears), had hair and makeup...More
My husband and I stayed at the Carolina B & B this past weekend for my niece's wedding in Downtown Asheville. Staying at the Carolina Bed & Breakfast was an absolute joy! They couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating to the Bride and Groom,...More
This lovely b&b is on a quiet residential street close to walking distance to two neighborhood restaurants and fairly close to the Grove arcade area(which does have some free evening parking). The only air conditioning is small, older window units which unfortunately did not work...More
We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Asheville to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We were in the Mockingbird room and it was a wonderful experience! John, Sara and Susan are warm and welcoming hosts who walk the line between being helpful but not intrusive....More

Thank you for your inquiry.
Our B&B is about three miles from the entrance to the Biltmore Estate. It is another four miles from the entrance to the house. You can take a taxi there but unfortunately the Biltmore does not have any form of transportation inside the Estate. Asheville itself has limited public transportation. For the most part you will need a car to really benefit from all the city has to offer. And there is a lot! Besides the Biltmore, downtown Asheville (a short walk from the Carolina B&B) is considered to be a architectural jewel in addition to be filled with independent boutiques and restaurants. Three miles from downtown area in the opposite direction is our River Arts District, full of artist's studios and galleries. Then, of course, there is the Blue Ridge Parkway with it's stunning vistas of the Mountains, accessible both by car and for hiking. Outside the city, farms and farmer's markets abound.
I hope this helps!
