We just spent an early fall weekend at the Carolina Bed and Breakfast and in all honesty, we could not have asked for better accomodations or hospitality. The bed and breakfast sits on a relatively quiet street, shady and pleasant, and the gardens outside are...More
One of the best B&Bs we've stayed at. Everything was ready when we arrived. They even had some snacks in our room. They accommodated my wife's gluten-free allergies as well. This was also the first B&B we've stayed at that served appetizers during the afternoon...More
This was my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast, but would definitely recommend the experience and the Carolina Bed and Breakfast in particular! My friends and I had a great time in Asheville, the owners were really nice people, and the food, the...More
Do yourself a favor and stay at the Carolina Bed and Breakfast! This was one of the most relaxing mini vacations my husband and I have ever taken.

Thank you for your inquiry.
Our B&B is about three miles from the entrance to the Biltmore Estate. It is another four miles from the entrance to the house. You can take a taxi there but unfortunately the Biltmore does not have any form of transportation inside the Estate. Asheville itself has limited public transportation. For the most part you will need a car to really benefit from all the city has to offer. And there is a lot! Besides the Biltmore, downtown Asheville (a short walk from the Carolina B&B) is considered to be a architectural jewel in addition to be filled with independent boutiques and restaurants. Three miles from downtown area in the opposite direction is our River Arts District, full of artist's studios and galleries. Then, of course, there is the Blue Ridge Parkway with it's stunning vistas of the Mountains, accessible both by car and for hiking. Outside the city, farms and farmer's markets abound.
I hope this helps!
