We had a wonderful return visit at the Reynolds Mansion this past weekend. Billy and his staff have the Christmas decorations up now. The decorations are absolutely stunning. We had the pleasure of meeting Joseph McLean Gregory during breakfast. Joseph is the grandson of Senator Robert Reynolds and great-grandson of Evalyn Walsh McLean, the last private owner of the famous...

They are absolutely wonderful! Great food, great people, and overall great experience! Billy is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the mansion, as well as the history of Asheville. He recommends the best restaurants and will give you directions to anywhere you'd like to go. The experience was so neat and made the weekend so much better than if we...

Billy and his staff at The Reynolds Mansion have the art of hospitality mastered on all levels. The welcome was detailed an intimate for such a large house. The breakfast and historical stories were some of the highlights of our trip. The room was well appointed to the smallest detail and our bed was fantastic. We are already planning a...

Our original goal was to visit the Biltmore but that was a minor attraction compared to our stay at the Reynolds Mansion. Billy, Sandy, Jim and the rest of staff made our stay (Wed.-Sun.) so comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing we are talking about going this coming summer (2017). The Mansion itself is so full of history you can't capture it...

Can't say enough good things about the Reynolds Mansion and its caretaker, Billy. A beautiful historic property just outside (about 4 miles) downtown Asheville and situated with sweeping mountain views. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the common areas (library, dining room, and endless porches) provide lots of space to stretch your legs outside your room. Billy and his staff...

Wow! We can't wait to return to this incredible mansion b&b! Billy was a fabulous host, and the mansion is steeped in interesting and beautiful history, which Billy and his team share with stories and through the authentic decor. Our room in the stable house was lovely, and the bed was like floating on a cloud. I'm not kidding. We...

The proprietor Billy is a wealth of information and is happy to share the fascinating details. He is a great host! We stayed in the mansion (there are additional rooms in an adjacent house)...

Our 5th visit to the Reynolds Mansion and again we were overwhelmed by the service and hospitality. Billy and his team treat every guest with attention to detail that surpasses many 5 star hotels. A full gourmet breakfast daily, plus wine and treats at night. All set in the beauty of a mansion set atop Reynolds Mountain. A mere 7-8...

A charming, delightful place to stay. The room was lovely, the breakfast was fantastic, and our host, Billy, was so welcoming and informative. We would go out of our way to stay there again. It was ideally located.
