The Reynolds Mansion is what you always dream a B&B will be. Billy is the heart and soul of the place and is the epitome of a gracious host. He has put great care into designing a home where every detail has been thought through and made beautiful and lovely. I loved turning the fireplace on in our room (Claudette)...

Reynolds Mansion is a wonderful example of what historic preservation is all about...with phenomenal innkeepers who are absolutely dedicated to loving stewardship of this magnificent home. I say this with some authority as an owner of an historic property. Billy is an extraordinary storyteller who brings the history of Reynolds Mansion alive with his breakfast musings. And despite the historical...

When Billy warmly greeted us at the front door of this impeccably restored old home, we knew that our trip to Ashville would be memorable. Reynolds Mansion evokes a different, gracious time with its parlor, library, grand dining room, and wrap-around porches with a mountain view The bedrooms, all named, are spacious and comfortable. During a delicious breakfast served on...

The owner host is very knowledgeable about the history of the mansion and is very willing to sit down with guests and share the fruits of his research. In furnishing the mansion, he made...

When we travel, we usually stay at B &B"s. Well, Reynolds Mansion is up there with some of the best places we've stayed at. Besides the beautifully restored mansion, what makes an excellent B & B is the host. Billy's knowledge about the history of the mansion and its restoration along with his knowledge of Asheville made you feel that...

Reynolds Mansion is more than I could imagine. The magnificently restored colonial revival home is complete down to the wall coverings, paintings, and furniture. Every corner holds another surprise and treasure. The Reynolds family was associated with mystery and history. The ever charming resident owner enthralled us with tales of the Hope Diamond, J. Edgar Hoover, ghosts, as well as...

Asheville’s native son Thomas Wolfe wrote, “You Can’t Go Home Again” but I beg to differ. Stepping inside The Reynolds’s Mansion is like being welcomed by family to place that feels strangely familiar. The outstanding food, the lively conversation, the overall feeling of warmth that radiates from Billy, Marty and all the staff makes you feel relaxed, contented and at...

Billy is the perfect host and a font of knowledge about the Reynolds family home. He has collected beautiful china, crystal, art, antiques.... and, he is a gourmet breakfast chef! My wife and I stayed in the Linda room and it is quite comfortable. We burned the gas fireplace.... it snowed overnight. Jim, Marty, and Brandon keep a big place...
