My wife and I stayed here 9 years ago and everything we loved about it then still remains the same. I work for one of the largest well known hotel chains in the world so staying somewhere other than a company property is very very rare. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bob the owner who was super friendly and...

What a wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed 2 nights in a fantastic period furnished room in a beautiful old home. The breakfast was superb and the host a gem. Made our stay in Asheville much better than just staying in a hotel. Thanks Wright Inn!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary for three nights. We stay at B&Bs several times a year and this one takes the cake. The house was gorgeous and kept immaculate. Breakfast was a two-course meal that was the perfect balance of sweets and health. We had great conversations with the innkeeper. Overall, the Wright Inn has raised...

Our experience at The 1899 Wright Inn was marvelous! The room was beautiful, it was like walking into a magical room, with its wallpaper, lovely linens, and amazing furniture from the time period. I told my husband that I felt like a was a little girl all over again on how amazed I was with a quaint room. Our host...

This was our first experience at a B&B which was a pure delight. Our room was very comfortable and inviting. Breakfast was fabulous and accommodated our dietary requirements. Future B&B stays in other locations will be measured by the gold standard set forth by the Gilmore's.

We love Montford, a charming section of Asheville that is either a walk or a short drive to shops and restaurants in downtown. Old Victorians populate the Montford Avenue and trees shade the streets. The Wright Inn is the perfect place to stay when you want to experience the charm of Montford without owning a home there. Bedrooms are spacious....

Loved our stay at 1899 Wright Inn, We had the suite on the main floor with a working (gas) fireplace and our own breakfast room. Comfortable bed. We were advised to use Uber to get into town ($6.00) on a busy weekend because it is not far from downtown Asheville and there can be limited parking. Because we were leaving...

We were here last fall and I just haven't had a chance to review until now. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful B&B. We had one of the smaller rooms, I believe it was the Green Room, but it served our needs well. Everything we needed was included. The bathroom is small with not a lot of room for...

I rarely leave reviews, but this place was fantastic. This was our first time staying at a b&b. I was skeptical of the idea at first, but I soon discovered it is so much better than staying at a chain hotel. The service was excellent, the room was comfortable, the house was beautifully decorated, the breakfast was phenomenal, and the...

I just spent the night at the Wright Inn and loved the room (Griffin) and the very comfortable bed and wonderful pillows. I have stayed in this room before and it never disappoints. The Inn is very welcoming and it is within walking distance of downtown and within walking distance of two very good restaurants for those of you who...
