The Muths and their staff will do their very best to make you feel welcome. From the cozy library wine hour to the wonderfully prepared breakfasts, the Beaufort House Inn is a real find. This is a lovely old house that is tastefully decorated and situated close enough to walk many places in Asheville. The Garden Room was light, airy,...

From the warm welcome we received on arrival at the beautiful Beaufort House, until we departed fully satiated from another delicious gourmet breakfast, our stay was restful, interesting, and enjoyable. The Inn offers not only attractive, comfortable rooms but also provides a nostalgic glimpse into days-gone-by with its historical memorabilia. We especially enjoyed the optional, informal gathering in the late afternoon...

A brilliant inn run by a lovely couple and we were checked into a room in the gardens the size of a matchbox with a bath in the bedroom - horrible. Anyway we did not complain and out of the blue they had a cancellation and we were uplifted to the top floor with a huge bedroom and bathroom, which...

We almost did not choose this place (we stayed in the Savannah) because of the plaid curtains (I was afraid it meant the room was a little too country for us--it wasn't!), but I am so glad we stayed here. Chris and Jim were wonderful and friendly, as was the rest of the staff. Erica was extremely helpful in helping...

My husband and I have stayed in several bed and breakfast inns and they all have met the typical expectation - nice room, nice people, decent food, etc., but the Beaufort House Inn goes above and beyond. From the time you drive up you are overwhelmed by the gorgeous house with it's huge porch and the exceptional service of the...

At the end of a very long day Mt Biking south of Asheville we were looking for a special place in this lovely town. Many places were all booked up and I did not want to stay at a crappy motel, to the tune of $150 or more, for my 45th Birthday, after a week of camping and a couple...

This was the perfect place for our 1 year anniversary getaway in Asheville. The location was just close enough to downtown, but we also felt like we are in a small retreat away from the bustle. The desk staff was also lovely, giving us a grand tour of the home, as well as great recommendations for dinner. We felt like...

My husband and I enjoyed an evening at this beautifully appointed old mansion during our Fall Foliage tour. Our room was delightful. Large and comfortable. The sheets and bedding were heavenly. The staff will give you a tour of the house, it's history and have great recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was family style and wonderful. This particular morning we had...
