Tried this downtown hotel out and it was a nice place to stay and within walking distance to most of the things we enjoy. (< 2 miles will get you anywhere and < 1 mile most of our favorites.) We traveld with another couple and were given adjoining rooms per our request. Nice rooms and the pool was also nice.

Very Clean room, loved the modern shower. The coffee was really good in the room. Clean lobby, professional staff members, easy access to walking downtown Asheville. Front desk provided maps and suggestions.

This is a Four Square by Sheraton, so naturally my family and I expected better. The double room is extremely small. The room was clean but looked old.
For a hotel that probably has 50 rooms or more it was disappointing to only have twp luggage carts. At check out time there were guests lined up in the lobby looking for a cart. The GSR even had to leave her post at the FD to go on a wild goose chase for luggage carts. That is absurd. Please fix this problem for the sake of other guests.
We were only there for a night (thankfully).
Management: granted you probably have your usual guests that are 100% satisfied with the conditions of your location. You should also focus on the satisfactions of your customers that are just passing thru. You should also not put your staff (FD staff) in situations where their running away from their posts at the FD because they dont want to get yelled at by angry guests concerning luggage carts. I hope you will fix this problem.
Let me add that the staff during our stay were very kind, energetic and helpful.
Housekeepers do a great job cleaning.
Hotel is in a great location in the middle of downtown. Bars amd restaurants are in walking distance. We were headed to Biltmore and it was about 15mins away (by car).
