My boyfriend and I frequent Asheville throughout the year, our favorite place we have found is here at the pines cottage, staff was extremely friendly and welcoming topped by the beautiful rustic country cabins. We stayed in cabin 13, giving us a wonderful taste of the mountain life, we created such beautiful memories of outdoor exploration and romantic evenings by...

Saw other reviews saying these cottages were 'quaint'. That's probably fair as would be 'quirky' or 'rustic'. Don't go for number 13 though as the noise from the road is terrible. The owner helpfully moved us to number 4 and it was okay but not stunning. The kitchen isn't well equipped and the whole place feels a bit tired. There...

We strive to take care of every single guest that stays at The Pines Cottages. In defense of our cottages, cottage 4 was recently remodeled in 2014. Cabin 13 is one of our original cabins & it remains one of the most popular. One of the qualities of The Pines is that it is 85 years old & brings that...

The cabin (#13) was quaint, cozy, rustic and very homey. Allen, the owner, knows the area well and provides superb recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The site is within a short driving distance from downtown Asheville. I will definitely stay there again.

This place is great as is the owner! Only drawback is close proximity to highway, but that's not their fault! Not too bad during sleeping hours! Quaint place, well worth your attention! Owner helps w info of surrounding area and places to see or eat! Steered us right!

I recently stayed in Cottage #15 with a group of 5 women (girl's weekend) and could not have been more pleased with the Pines Cottages. We stayed in Cottage #15 which had 2 rooms, a large living room with fireplace (firewood & firestarter provided), full kitchen, and full bathroom. There was ample seating on the front porch and a large...

Wife, Ellie and I recently stayed at the Pines for a long weekend getaway. A pet friendly cabin, we stayed in #7, was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was clean. The firewood and fireplace was great and Allen, the owner and his staff were very friendly. As an added benefit, there's an Ingles supermarket nearby and the...

These cottages are awesome. We stayed in Cottage 2, which has a gas fireplace and a nice front porch (no back porch). It was quiet and very private. Everything is a bit creaky and rustic, but hey that is the charm of the place! You get your own little house for a few days and it was always nice to...

I had the best time ever! The cottages are cozy, rustic, and beautifully appointed all at the asme time. The property is large and made for relaxing wanderings with my two dogs. I felt like I was in a forest getaway but close enough to the town for all that I needed. I definitely will stay here again and recommend...

Thanks to Allen for accomodating us with such a beautiful and cozy cabin! This was our first trip to Asheviille and we brought our pups along with us. The property was great for the dogs and close to downtown. Each place has its own fireplace which was great!
