I can't say enough about staying at a Marriott hotel. We have stayed at yet. The rooms are clean and neat, the service is excellent. The Marriott hotels usually offer a buffet breakfast each morning which is a great bonus.

Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice
weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

If you get there past 10 pm, you wont have luck even in normal days, they close around that time. the only thing i got was a free tea since they saw me freezing and starving after a very long day of flying across the country. Consider calling the hotel already and getting updated recommendations. Wishing you luck!

You might be able to, but on the other hand, you might be facing in the exact opposite direction. I did not have a good experience with the front desk of the hotel during my recent stay, so I would worry that you might be promised this but it wouldn't actually be given to you because they don't guarantee room locations (or even rooms, in my case). The hotel is convenient, though, if you want to take the T to get a better view.
