Overpriced, noisy adjoining room - old staff who aren't so friendly - there hopefully are better hotels in Boston. No pool or suana or "spa". Even this survey they make you write a minimum of 200 words - WHY?

Stayed recently. Not impressed with the room. Small bathroom, room looked like it was not vacuumed, and someone's under wear was hanging on a hanger in the closet! Gross. Black long hair all over the bathroom, even the walls. Hotel is lovely. Good service by bell hops but we like cleanliness! To many other places to stay while in Boston....

Great Place!!! Staff was exceptional. Room was perfect, Bed extremely comfortable. And finally a room with quality coffee!!! When signing in it turned out that I messed up the dates on reservation, it was not an issue, even gave us the same room that I had reserved in the 1st place. Have stayed here many times....Love It!!

Very last minute decision to stay in a hotel but certainly no regrets! The price was very affordable and the location and quality were stellar! Would recommend the Park Plaza to anyone. The only drawback was that they didn't provide parking or parking validation however we parked overnight in a garage which was affordable and just around the corner from...

The hotel was fine, service was very good and overall my room was fine, good bed although I could hear street noise and sirens often. The biggest concern for me was the lack of counter space in the bathroom. I was on a business trip, so solo, which is good because for two people the bathroom space and lack of...

I enjoy the gym down stairs. Make sure the room is ready when guests arrive. Making them wait and hour after a day of travel is not ideal. If you put a guest in a smaller room for the night then guest should be charged the rate of the smaller room for that night. Thanks!

I work in Boston but live in NH, and need to stay local for work when there is inclement weather. This hotel was perfect in every aspect, and centrally located. I will be choosing to stay here whenever I need to stay in town from now on!

Recent renovations give this 90 year old hotel an updated feel. The price was more affordable than other central Boston hotels. The location was convenient with lots to do and plenty of restaurants right in the area. It is also accessible by public transportation so leave your car at home if at all possible.

Loose toilet seat, very loud toilet flush, ill fitting bed sheet, stain on chair, thin walls. Mandatory $18 wifi/ resort fee. Doorman would open door some of the time but not others- consistency would be better. Great location.

I arrived and was received quickly, the room was ready and clean as expected. the staff was helpful when needed. check out was effortless and easy. The fitness center is ample and available for use, eating at the lobby restaurant was a pleasure recommended for a great place to stay.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
