Wonderful hotel for great value in the middle of downtown Boston, clean rooms and friendly service and staff. Bathrooms in the lobby spotless! We were very satisfied with the spacious gym! We have stayed there many times before and will definitely return.

Rooms were okay. First room they tried to give us smelled of a musty smell and was a conjoined room so we could hear everything they said. We asked to go to another room which was much better. Did not appreciate the first room.

A couple might struggle a little in the Superior, especially those who like to spread out in the bathroom! More than enough for a solo traveller. My 9th floor room only had views of other 9th floor rooms - a bit of a disappointment. Big shower head, reasonable water flow. Bang up to date TV, Chromecast enabled (limited IOS functionality),...

My husband and I were in the middle of a staycation celebrating all things local. We were already in a pretty relaxed state of mind when we arrived to the Park Plaza for our 1 night in town, but soon discovered that our fun and relaxation would go to a deeper level. Driving in Boston can get a little stressful,...

My wife and I stayed 4 days, 3 nights at the Boston plaza hotel. When we first arrived we were met by German, the baggage/valet who was very welcoming and funny. We were first on the 7th floor and had a nice room but we wished for a better view and just asked if we could move. Without hesitation or...

I'm here right now. Staff great. Very accommodatingly upgraded me from the depressing postage stamp sized room to a 15th floor corner room. Awesome so far. However, one rather important problem: I cannot get this room to warm up. My feet freeze in the bathroom, and as I write this from the relative warmth of the bed covers, my nose...

I read a lot about the Park Plaza's recent major renovations and was excited to check it out during a one night stay with my wife. I booked a regular room but decided to upgrade to a studio suite. Upon arriving we quickly discovered these 'renovations' basically meant a fresh coat of paint and some modern furniture in the rooms....

Excellent hotel, loved staying there, elegant dining and bar area...The room was always clean, the staff very helpful both for items inside the hotel and directions to tourist areas. Sterling Brown in HR was very personable and helped in directing us to different attractions.

Stayed here one night and the renovation was done extremely well! We initially booked the superior room, which turned out to be so small that we couldn't fit our 2 large suitcases on the floor. Then we called to the front desk to ask about any upgrades, which they listed for us. Surprisingly they mentioned that the Presidential suite was...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
