We visited for 4 nights mid week. Positives: Comfortable bed Clean room Good shower Nice staff Negatives: No gym (although arrangements with gym 12min walk away). Average breakfast (the bacon was cremated to the point of being inedible). Overall: we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
This hotel was great. As soon as you walk up we were greeted by the doormen opening the doors to a gorgeous entryway with a beautiful chandelier above. The front desk helped store our luggage and helped us with directions. While we were away they put our luggage into our adjoined rooms. They were very attentive. The rooms were very nicely sized. One with a king bed and a living room area with tv, couch, and chairs. The other room had two queen beds. All the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were very nice both had marble walk in showers. Plush towels and nice toiletries. All around a great stay!
Investigated accommodations for a long weekend visiting our favorite city. Came across The Eliot and decided to give it a try. BRAVO! From the moment we arrived in our Uber from Logan, we were greeted with such hospitality. We were convinced it would be a lovely stay. Our room was a beautiful suite and the extra room, was pivotal in how we experienced our weekend. The comfortable bed, the roomy living room and the quiet environment were all so appreciated. I would’ve liked more light as the lighting was served only by lamps, but that never once dimmed our enjoyment of this sweet hotel. Located at the corner of Massachusetts and Commonwealth Avenues … it is the perfect place to walk out the door and enjoy the back Bay of Boston. Right down the road is one of our favorite restaurants, the Atlantic Fish Company and we were so close to the TD Center., it was just a short ride to go watch the Celtics win over the Lakers! This will be the place we stay when we come to Boston. Such a beautiful experience.…
The rooms were freshly renovated, and the hotel has the elegance of the time when hotel travel with a unique experience. Wonderful staff and as a bonus there is an excellent restaurant in the ground floor. I’ve been here several times over the past few years and each time the hotel continues to get better.
This was my fourth stay at the Eliot and it never disappoints. We were in Boston for my husband’s birthday celebration - it’s a lovely old hotel that is immaculately clean and close to everything. I am visually impaired and have trouble in low light situations but the room was well lit with great sunshine facing Comm Ave. The Eliot’s best asset is it’s staff, all of whom are gracious and welcoming, and someone always appears to open the front door for you. Very comfortable bed, plenty of pillows, and nicely decorated. My favorite place to stay when I’m in town.
The Elliot Hotel is our go to hotel when we visit Boston. It’s a charming boutique hotel. The staff is very helpful and attentive. Great location near beautiful residences in Back Bay, shopping and restaurants on Newbury Street and a T stop.
We have stayed at The Eliot many, many times over the past six years. We have never been disappointed. The staff is both welcoming and efficient. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The location is perfect-close to the wonderful shops and restaurants on Newberry Street. We would highly recommend this fantastic property.
Nicely appointed, beautiful property run by a caring and extremely helpful staff. I stayed in a one bedroom suite and could not have been more comfortable. Location is within easy walking distance of some of the bet restaurants and shops in town.
In the heart of old school Boston, this pretty hotel brings you back in time, while feeling updated. Great service, great rooms. We were upgraded without even requesting to a suite and it was fabulous. Our car was ready on time and room service came swiftly. Highly recommend.
Stellar customer service, elegant and comfortable surroundings, quiet and peaceful setting. Every staff member anticipated our needs then quickly and courteously met them. We had a King Suite over MLK weekend. Like the rest of the hotel, it was elegant and comfortable with plenty of room and the ability to close off the bedroom from the living room. We are a delicious breakfast buffet at Uni Restaurant in the hotel. The staff was amazing, the best and most welcoming customer service we’ve ever experienced!
