Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

Lovely hotel lobby with a fire place. The fire place had what appeared to be steam with red/amber lighting to create the flame. It had an electric heater which provided the warmth. Very interesting and nice to look at. There's flavored water to the right of check in. Three

Choose this property because I am a Hilton Gold member and it was close to the MFA. We were going there for a special exhibit. The hotel location was excellent, the staff (especially Omar) was helpful and friendly, breakfast was superb, the room was very comfortable and quiet.

I enjoy travelling and usually stay in 4-stars (or 5-stars if I can find a good deal!). Hilton Back Bay is up there with the best of them. I stayed in June/July 2018 during the heat wave (and the AC was quiet and effective). I came for a long weekend away with my boyfriend.

Libby is small; otherwise I would disagree that it is a boutique hotel. Most boutique hotels have very small, cozy rooms and only a handful; This property has full-size rooms and is a high-rise. Very nice property. But if you are looking for a true boutique experience this property does not fit the description.

I did see someone picking up a ups package at the front desk when we were there. I would definitely call the hotel to see if/how they did it, and get the exact mailing address if they do offer this service to patrons.

Check in time is 4pm? Anyone have issues checking in early?
If the room you reserved is not available. They store your luggage and ask you to come back after a stroll in the mall, etc., or have a drink on the premises. This only happens if you ask for a specific room on a specific floor! They are very good about it. If you alert them about your early check in, they will have your room ready for you unless the person staying in the room has asked for a late check-out. I have been using this hotel since 2000...no problems..We always enjoyed our stay in this hotel and feel at home..
