My husband and I had arranged a weekend in Boston for a small family reunion, we had our 7 year old granddaughter with us. Our reservation was made well in advance, we requested a room away from the elevator. When we received the check-in email,...More

Hotel was under renovation, but that didn’t hinder the amazing service all around. Doormen, front desk staff, maid service and bar staff ALL friendly, professional and made you feel welcomed. Everyone greeted me with a smile. It really just makes the stay that much better...More
Never staying at a Hilton again. Won't reimburse me for their hotel room in Back Bay Boston when my flight connection was delayed and had to get re-routed to another city. Totally out of my hands, yet you only cover flights that are cancelled. How...More
Excellent location to explore Boston, as a tourist, as a shopper, as a conference participant, as a gastronome. Room was clean and large. Badroom was a little bit small and water was constantly dripping. Service at check-in or check-out very friendly, the concierge was very...More
Double beds were small - full size at best - but adequate for us (me, my wife and our adult son). We were there for a memorial service and we weren't spending much time in the room. Executive lounge was the best feature for us...More
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice
weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

If the room you reserved is not available. They store your luggage and ask you to come back after a stroll in the mall, etc., or have a drink on the premises. This only happens if you ask for a specific room on a specific floor! They are very good about it. If you alert them about your early check in, they will have your room ready for you unless the person staying in the room has asked for a late check-out. I have been using this hotel since 2000...no problems..We always enjoyed our stay in this hotel and feel at home..
