I work in Boston and travel here regularly on business. It is competent as business hotels go but the lobby is lacking and the location, while very central, is kind of tucked away and takes longer to get to than it should given the way the streets go. Unless you have Hilton loyalty there are better choices in Back Bay.

Hilton Back Bay's location and ease of getting to local malls, etc. are a great feature of this hotel. Rooms are clean and modern. Staff is always friendly and seem happy there. As a wheelchair user, everything is accessible; however, the lift to teh Executive Level and Restaurant needs some work... loud and sometimes difficult to operate. The staff id...

Excellent location supported by a very knowledgable staff of the city. Very prompt with inquiring about my week stay. Even after making recommendations they would follow up with asking how my experience was daily.

I stayed here last week on floor 17. The room was nice the hotel staff was accommodating. In room 1707 you are close to the ice machine which for periods of time you can hear water running in your room constantly as if a shower is running in the bathroom. I came here for business but also was with my...

It is a very nice hotel. It's a little out of the way from things, but it's near Newbury Street if you like shopping. The staff was nice and helpful. The view from the room was nice and clean. The price was great for a last minute stay.

I was really impressed with this hotel. We stayed 3 nights. The staff made us feel like we have been coming there for years. This was our first visit. We got an upgraded room at the top of the hotel with the perfect panoramic view of the river and surrounding sites. My son was auditioning at the New England Conservatory...

Location was great. Short walk to shopping centre train station. Cheesecake factory just around the corner too. Hotel is a little on the older side but didnt bother us at all. Would recommend based on price and location.

Across the street from the Hynes Convention Center, this Hilton is in a great location for Convention goers. The room was nice and clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. And the restaurant downstairs had some tasty dishes and is a good spot to grab a drink. No breakfast. No digital keys. Mobile check in supported. Good value for the...

This place is a Hilton-branded hotel that strangely feels like a Days Inn or Motel Six. The room price was, to be fair, quite low, around $175, while luxury rooms in Boston go for well over $400. We had bought one of the possible upgrades, well worth it - our floor, the 24th, was brand newly rehabbed and everything glistened....

The location is good, beds are comfortable but there are a few problems. The mirror in the bathroom will blind you. It is a round mirror, very large, with the light bulb around the outer edge. You cannot turn it off or down. You can't look at it without hurting your eyes and if you do and then leave the...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
