I am very VERY happy with my stay here - it is an incredible value AND it's ON Newbury Street. First is, you get to enjoy a really nice hot breakfast on Newbury Street in Roost Café EVERY morning (attached to the hotel). Breakfast is probably a $20/value per person alone but is included for free with your stay. Breakfast...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 3 December 2016 via mobile

Very nice guest house, well located to walk to just about anywhere in Boston. Staff were fantastic, breakfasts included from The Roost restaurant. We'll be back in the spring, for sure! Close to many attractions, Fenway, Boston Common and Boston Public Library, lots of history, in a very historical town.

Great location. Really. All the best shops and plenty of good restaurant and cafes were in short walking distance. Also Prudential Mall was just two minutes walk away. Breakfast was minimal - croissants were delicious though. The only huge downside was that our room had a mildew smell. When we arrived home we noticed that all our clothes were really...

The Newbury Guest House is located right on Newbury Street in the heart of the Back Bay. The shopping on Newbury is famous, the restaurants are excellent, and you're in walking distance to any of the sites in Boston. An added bonus ... in the winter months the guest rate is very affordable. They even have a three-nights-for-the-price-of-two deal in...

We loved our stay at the Newbury Guest House. We did not spend too much time in the room, but the accommodations were great! The location can't be beat, the staff was friendly, the room was clean and as a bonus, the bed was extremely comfortable! We will definitely check this hotel first when booking a hotel in Boston in...

I recently stayed at the Newbury Guest House for a night with my 14 year old daughter. We both found it to be a charming, low key place to stay. Our room on the fourth floor was comfortable, clean and quiet. We were able to check in early and left our bags in he luggage room downstairs after checking out....

We stayed for 2 nights. The location was great, it is located on Newbury St it was near the Hynes Convention Center where my friends and I went to for Anime Boston. I go to Boston on business a few times a year. I've stayed at various hotels but the prices in the fall for Boston hotels is quite high. Price point for this guest house was good for Boston. Close to my job and restaurants. Newbury St. is always busy and festive and the guesthouse is close to everything. The room...

The biggest plus is that this hotel is close to the Hynes convention center. It is located on the quaint Newbury street. This was the 4th time I stayed in this guesthouse and the place what definitively has improved is the breakfast area, that now doubles as a bonafide restaurant after breakfast hours. The room I had was small but...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
