I used to stay here a couple of times a year but hadn't been in 5 years. I brought a couple of friends to Boston and we used Newbury Guest House as our base. It was perfect for everything we did. You are in a...More
I liked the hotel but the owner is a grump. He needs to stay in the back and let his nice employees greet the guests. He walked around looking perturbed. Once I figured out he was mad because guests were taking free newspapers from the...More
This is a good room in a great location. We stayed on the second floor at the front of the hotel and heard no noise from the street, even over a weekend. Room is spacious and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The...More

Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice
weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

Parking is available at a rate of $20.00 per night. We are a fairly quiet hotel and we typically host an older demographic; however, that's not to say that our hotel is not kid-friendly. Loud children may bother other guests, but we trust that you will respect our relaxing, quiet atmosphere as best you can.
I hope this answered your question.
