I love this hotel. When you first walk in, you might think you are walking into Versailles! I stay there with my best friend on the 4th/5th of July every year. This is the weekend I celebrate my date of birth, the 4th and the Red Sox. This year, there was a nice card (from the staff) and a wrapped...

This was one of the nicest hotel experiences we have ever had. The facilities are absolutely gorgeous and the staff was great. The concierge on the fourth floor was professional, smart, friendly and efficient. We can't say enough about her skill set.

The Fairmont is a classically beautiful, historic hotel located on Copley Square. As you walk through the door, you are transported back to a time when elegance mattered. Amazingly intricate architectural features and impeccable service great you. The associate that checked us in, Steven, was very professional and personable. He was able to accommodate our early check-in request, which really...

the lobby and general common areas of the hotel are stunningly beautiful and elegant but the guest rooms are tired and need a facelift. There is a big difference between the condition of the lobby and restaurants to the condition of the guest rooms. My room had a strange damp smell and was very tired looking. It was just okay,...

Entering the lobby is like entering a different era. Grand, ornate, and lots of bling. The room however was much more to my liking. The location is great, and staff we dealt with were all nice and friendly. Can't comment on the restaurant, as we just ate elsewhere during our stay.

First the Good. Concierges can find you anything from A day car for a tour, to the best restaurants, to telling you where everything is. (Jason was especially helpful.) The room was very good. Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
