My wife and I had been staying a few days at an expensive conference hotel near the World Trade Center (Seaport district) during her work meeting, then we moved to this B&B at 82 Chandler Street. The conference hotel was nice, but this B&B felt like Boston. It was lovely, comfortable and in a very good location for shopping, eating,...

Beautiful room, friendly hosts & great location on a leafy street a short walk from plenty of places to eat, shops and the Back Bay and Copley metro stations. I was in room 6 which has a small kitchen in a cupboard, so no breakfast provided but it's not far to Foodies on Washington St!

Great location and within walking distance to metro and Back Bay area. One negative was the noise in the room above ours on our last night. A guest arrived late in the evening and it sounded like they were moving furniture until about 11pm. This was a problem since we needed to get up early in the morning to catch...

My wife and I arrived very late at night and we were well received. We had a remarkable experience since it was my first time staying in a Bed and Breakfast. It is a beautiful historical well conserved home. The service was excellent and Dominic is a great host. The location was ideal for seeing the best Boston has to...

This is my first B & B experience and was pretty good. Great location close to the subway. Easy to access from Logon airport. Walkable distance to south end area i.e Newbury St, Prudential center, copley square, etc.... Convenient store like CV pharmacy and supermarket are close by. I have to leave very early every morning for my conference so...

My husband and I came and stayed for 5 days in April for a Muse concert and to visit family. We couldn't find any hotel resonably priced because of the marathon. But luckely we found this B&B, It was very well situated with only a short walking distance to the T and with everything close by. Jose and Dominic were...

From location to accommodations, my recent visit with 82 Chandler exceeded my wildest expectations. The BNB is in a great, classy Boston neighborhood within walking distance to subway stations (no need for a car), great shopping, tourist attractions, the Boston Public Library, Copley Square, and some awesome restaurants. Boston's farthest attractions are a short T ride away. The room was...

My fiance and i chose this bed and breakfast for the location, as he had a conference going on in in the nearby Park Plaza Hotel. Finally, it turned out to be a brilliant choice. While he was off at conference, I was off visiting the Boston Common Green, Newbury Street, Copley Square and Prudential center which had the best...

I really enjoyed my stay at Veronica's B&B. The location is super, next to the T and within walking distance to Back-Bay, South End and Downtown. Jose and Dominic are very friendly, they offer a nice breakfast. Truly a value for price choice. I recommend it without hesitation and I'll be coming back for sure.

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
