We stayed for two nights to enjoy Boston and were glad we had made the change from another nearby hotel. The location is just what we wanted, walking distance to many places in Boston and handy to all public transportation. The people at the hotel could not be better, from the valet that took care of our car to the...

I loved everything about my stay at the Lenox. The service was truly exceptional at every turn. The location is perfect. The rooms are wonderful, well cared for, and so clean. The lobby was warm with a fire burning every day during a very snowy and cold long weekend. Every area of the hotel is beautiful. I walked up and...

Thank you Lenox Hotel for a wonderful weekend! What a treat to stay here. Staff is thoughtful, friendly and very accommodating. We were lucky enough to stay in a fireplace suite, and it was gorgeous. The room was spacious, and well appointed. Comfortable bed, small but functional bath. Great Beekman amenities. If you are a light sleeper the noise level...

Convenient location in a fun part of Boston, with superior service. Small size provided a welcome relief from the usual large chain hotels most of us are used to staying at. Restaurant served an incredible brunch, and the bar was fun. We stayed in the smallest room but it was still large enough that we didn't feel cramped. Will definitely...

Fantastic hotel within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go - and only 5 mins to the nearest T station and bus stops. Beautiful lobby and friendly helpful staff. My room was a little bit on the small side but had all we needed and was spotlessly clean! Highly recommended.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
