This is a hotel that has earned its reputation of exceptional service over time and its obvious they take it very serious. Friendly and attentive it is a nice feeling to be served by professionals. Room was very nice, enjoyed the Bose Sound Dock and also large flat screen. It has the details and amenities you would expect for the...

Unbeatable location in boston. Newbury and Boyleston at your door (shopping and dining galore). The "T" line one block away. Two blocks from the Commonwealth Ave Park greenway (important since we had our two small dogs with us). Friendly staff (they warmly greeted both us and the dogs every time), restaraunt and bar on site (had two great breakfasts there) We...

I have a great deal of love for this hotel as I stayed here when I got engaged to my fiancee. The service is exceptional and the location is, IMO, the best in Boston. My favorite part of the hotel is the scent. When I inquired about the great and relaxing scent, I was told that they have a lemon...

I visit the Lenox Hotel regularly, and am never ever disappointed with the service and quality of the property. This was a particularly special visit while also going to Billy Elliot at the Boston Opera house with two friends. The staff at the front desk were incredibly courteous and helpful and my room was unbelievable. Every detail was taken care...

Had a great stay at the Lenox. Loved the lobby and the complimentary coffee, tea, and the odd cupcake or muffin. Great bar options, where you can get a cracker of a martini, or a more casual Guinness depending on your preference. And the rooms are very very comfortable, all for what I thought was a very fair tariff. Location...

A really lovely place to stay, location is perfect, rooms are spacious and comfortable, wonderful staff. We ate breakfast every day in the hotel and it was fantastic - room service was some of the best food we've had in hotels anywhere in the world. Walked everywhere from here including Fenway Park to watch a game. The only downfall was...

This is an older hotel complete with all the charm and exceptional service. We had a corner suite with not so great a view, but the room was fabulous! It couldn't be in a better location, we could walk everywhere. The service is that of a 5-star hotel, the doorman at the elevater has been there for something like 60...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
