Incredible hotel at the heart of Boston. Rooms are spacious and very well equiped and service is impecable. When in Boston my very firts choice. It has nice pubs and restaurants near bye. Tea at the lobby is a must. The spa and pool area are worth a visit if you have time.

Beautiful property, the old Federal Reserve Building, in downtown Boston. The only "negatives" is that it is approximately 0.5 miles to the nearest "T" stop at Downtown Crossing and that there are limited night-time establishments as this is primarily a business district. The rooms were relatively large with coffeemakers, the gym was not well supplied with e=weights and aerobic machines,...

Excellent hotel very close to the main hub of Boston and transport links. Welcoming, friendly and an excellent light, airy lobby with a cafe area serving snacks, tea et throughout the day. Our bedroom was large and very clean.

From the moment you walk in you will be treated fabulously. Doormen are friendly and extremely helpful, check in staff are also very friendly and accommodating, and the cleaning crews do a fantastic job. The lobby is elegant in a welcoming not stuffy way. Afternoon Tea service in the lobby is a really nice treat if you have some time...

We chose to The Langham Boston after hearing excellent reviews of the properties. Upon entering, the lobby was stunning with crystal chandeliers and beautiful florals and had a very pleasant smell. We checked in without any delays. Once in the room, we noticed a smell in the room and after looking out the window we saw that we were right...

Let me say from the start, I am a huge fan of the Langham brand and know first hand the service and attentiveness to detail they offer. Also, I am a status member of the 1865 Club for frequent guests. When I arrived a the property at 1:25p I didn't give not getting a room a thought. So when I...

The Langham hotel now occupies the former Federal Reserve bank building. The elegance is apparent as soon as you walk in the front entrance. The lobby is bright in uncluttered containing the check-in desk, one of their three restaurants, and multiple seating areas. The attention to detail is apparent as soon as you walk into your room. The first thing...

We stayed for 2 nights at the Boston location while my partner was on business. I was able to relax and enjoy the hotel's gym, pool and whirlpool. The restaurant is beautiful although we chose to dine elsewhere. Our room on the 8th floor could use an update as well as the hallways, but it was comfortable and quiet. The...

I stayed at the Langham last week and I was extremely happy with the service I received, as well as the hotel as a whole. We booked an Executive Room, to have a little more space than the Classic rooms. We purchased the Indulging Delights: Chocolate Bar Package, so that we could go to the Chocolate Bar as well. When...

We stayed only one night in this hotel, but it is exactly what you would expect of a property of this caliber. Service was wonderful, the room was beautiful and quiet. We were appreciative of the lobby staff - bellman, concierge. All who not only handled our requests graciously, but went out of their way to recognize my 11 year...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
