Great location- perfect central location in Boston., speedy check-in and check-out… great service. Only stayed 1 night so not much more for me to say. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to other friends coming into Boston.
Thank you Nick for extending our late check out and letting our car being Parked for the same reason in front of the hotel. Bless you Nick for your kindness. We really appreciated you very much. Our stay was fantastic. Nice room with a balcony and a fire place. The lobby was very inviting. Internet was working very well. It is a very clean hotel at a perfect location! Extra water is free in the lobby to collect.
The folks at the Bostonian go above and beyond every time we visit. From the comfy beds and pillows, to the excellent rain shower heads and everything in between. I love how they check as soon as you arrive to see if there’s an upgraded room available for you! We had a sweet little balcony overlooking the square this time. Everyone is responsive, friendly and brings a fresh face back to customer service. BE SURE to get dinner at 29 North too. The restaurant makes lobster ravioli and braised short ribs to die for. Until next time!
The Hotel is in a great location. Close to restaurants, markets, bars, shopping and tourist attractions BUT that is where it stops. Rooms are ok. They are old. There is no room to put your bags or clothes. There was no heating in the bathroom and it was FREEZNG!!! The elevators did not work the whole time we where there. We had to use the service lift and it was messy with chairs, equipment strewn all over. Very unappealing. The staff were not friendly. Not even a smile. On checking in the woman sat the whole time and spoke softly - her accent was hard to understand. She was per functionary and not friendly at all. We were there on Christmas Day and not one staff wished us "Happy Holidays" or anything. Seriously, how difficult is it to be nice to guests. The staff in the restaurant were friendly. The doorman did not even take our bags. We had to wheel them ourselves. When we were leaving the hotel to go to the airport - they again did not offer to assist with the baggage. What kind of a hotel is this?? They took a security amount for booking the room before we arrived. It is 2 weeks since we have been and we are still out of pocket. This is no way to run a hotel. They do not care about the customer at all. Do not bother staying here. It is a shame because its location is good.…
Great hotel with a really good location to many restaurants, bars, and TD Garden. The hotel was very nice. Easy check in and out. We will stay here again in the future. The restaurant at the hotel was really convenient as well. The staff was very friendly and outgoing.
Just a few steps away from the Quincy Market and New Englas Aquarium. Checking in was a breeze and valet parking made our trip even more easier. Room service breakfast was my husband and 3yrar old daughter’s highlight! :)
nothing makes me madder than when hotel backdoor you with fees that are meaningless. The Bostonian charges a $25/night/room "destination fee". I cant imagine how they dreamed that up. They advertise a rate then hit you with this at checkout. Rooms are just okay. The location is great. Elevators were out and we had to use the service elevator and only one of them was working - for the whole hotel. Probably going to try the Canopy next door next time
We had made reservation for Jan 2 night stay. We had stayed here a few years back and enjoyed the hotel. The main elevators were not working. We had to use the one service elevator available 👎 dirty 🥴 . This hotel charges a nightly destination fee of $25 per night ( totally a ripoff ) Very disappointed
We came to Boston for a concert and decided to stay another night for fun. Thought the location of the hotel near Quincy Market was a plus. Only average since clean and relatively modern but no real amenities to speak of (though they still require a $25 “destination charge “ per night). Parking is nearby but also not included. The worst part was having to use the sole service elevator our entire stay since the main ones were broken (and not being repaired). Overall disappointing and probably won’t book here again.
Fantastic location! Accommodations surpassed my expectations. Customer service was like nothing I have ever experienced . Over the top service Josh at the front desk could not have been more accommodating . Honestly one of my best stays in Boston!!! I intend on going back to this hotel. I be would rate this location a 15 out if 10 Superb!
