My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and were pleased with our choice. Our room was one of the bow-front rooms overlooking the street. These street-facing rooms are slightly larger than rooms to the back of the hotel and we enjoyed being able to look out over the quiet Boston streets below. Street noise was minimal.... More

Even after several positive reviews, we somehow thought we should not have stayed here. The location of the Inn was very good. It was very close to both Prudential and Back Bay Stations. Also close by was the Prudential centre which had a number of stores inside, including Barnes and Noble. A few restaurants nearby were good also. The room... More

We stayed at the Copley Inn for two nights during the first weekend of October and found it to be very comfortable and very conveniently located within walking distance / minutes from everything you need. Tons of bars, restaurants and shopping within blocks. This was my first trip to Boston so we found this location perfect as a starting point... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Coopley Inn and had a good experience. We felt that the room had all the amenities one needs, was a good size and that the Inn was in a great location. The inn keepers were friendly and super helpful. The only problem with the room was that the bed was too hard... More

I stayed three weeks at the Copley Inn while attending summer classes at a local university. The room I had at the Copley Inn was clean and bright, and had all the appliances I needed for the extended stay – including a small (but functional) kitchenette, en-suite bathroom and small closet. There was also a table that served as a... More

We stayed for 2 nights and were extremely comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Having a kitchen was a bonus and there is a supermarket only a block away. Great neighbourhood and close to shopping and transport. Would definitely stay here again!

Charming, lovely hotel in the heart of Boston. Within 1 block of the Convention Center. Lovely and immaculate rooms. The hotel management couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. Great value - will definitely stay here again.

This is a cute, charming and affordable place in the center of everything Boston. The location is fantastic, minutes from everything we wanted to see. The staff was really friendly as well. The room itself was too cute, with a small kitchenette so that we could brew our own coffee in the morning and have breakfast. The only drawback was... More

Practically a native of Boston and I was back in town for a conference that took place at the Marriot and the conference center. Other than staying in one of the impersonal hotels, I could not have been closer to the conference. The kitchen came with toaster and coffee pot which was perfect for me. There is a supermarket half... More

The hotel is on a short street very close to Newbury St shopping district. All the rooms are the same price, the front ones are much larger than the rooms in the back (the front rooms probably have less road noise than the ones further down the corridor). I believe all have kitchen facilities, and a fridge, so it would... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
