The hosts are very friendly and a font of information. They were very good about accomodating my dairy-free, gluten-free diet. The food was delicious. There were also some snacks and juices in the kitchenette. Staying on a moored boat was fun - enough motion to...More
We stayed at the Green Turtle II rom 8-14 to 8-21 2015. It was a fabulous stay and Jon and Karen were wonderful. The food was great and Jon was very friendly and very helpful in guiding us where we needed to go and how...More
Unfortunately we stayed only one night on the Green Turtle III! It was such an amazing experience and my husband still thinks he never had such a good night's rest before! May it for the waves or the matresses/bedding, it was wonderful and extremely relaxing....More
So excited to have arrived and so sad when our stay was complete! This was such a comfortable and relaxing place to call "home" for three nights. Wish we had stay here all five nights in Boston. This floating lodging is close to everything but...More
Not living so far away from Boston, the Green Turtle B&B is a must get away. Whether you live near or far! It is a unique experience spending a night or three on the floating boat. My husband and I spent three nights in the...More

I think you will definitely find the Green Turtle suitable for 14 days in September 2017. We are in the historic Charlestown Navy Yard. The USS Constitution "Old Ironsides" is a short walk away as well as part of the Freedom trail. As previously mentioned the ferry is on pier 3 and we are on pier 8. There is also a free shuttle bus at the end of our street that takes you to North Station(less than a mile) which is a stop on our transportation system and brings you very close to the North End "Little Italy".
After you are out sightseeing for the day, you can enjoy your evening watching the harbor traffic while sitting on your comfy chairs on the dock! There are numerous dining choices here in the Navy Yard.
We hope to see you in September of 2017
Karen and Jon

There is parking right at the marina. The owner will meet you in the lot with a little cart for your luggage and take you to the B&B. You need a keyfob to get into the dock area. Very safe. You will get your own keyfob with your keys so you can come and go during your stay. I believe the lot parking was $20 for 24 hours.
