Hyatt Place was a choice for the Seaport district. This area is upcoming, but anything in town is a bit of a hike/Uber/Public transportation. If you’re in town for the traditional sights, you might consider being close to the center of activity. Ubers get expensive real fast. We walked to most of our destinations, as we like to get out. Plan on a 30 minute brisk walk to the Commons. This hotel is listed as a Hyatt, Category 5. We intended to use our award nights, but were unable to since they only work for Categories 1-4. This hotel is a Category 4 at best.
Front desk personal was super nice. I went in early to drop off my luggage, however she was kind enough to find a room and check me in early. Rooms were very clean and had a great spread for breakfast.
This is a very nice and great located hotel not only does the view make it 10x better but the staff is super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really top notch! I was there on a business trip but the hotel made it feel nothing like it.
We were very impressed with the Hyatt’s cleanliness and all the amenities that you would expect from a major city hotel. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous. The best feature of the hotel is its location in the Seaport We received a room that had a spectacular view of Boston Harbor and we were in close proximity to the many restaurants and entertainment venues in the city. We highly recommended this hotel.
Easy to drop off car for valet and overnight parking. Choose the Park and Stay option for the best price. Easy check in, clean updated rooms, comfortable bed. Great Location at the end of the "Seaport Strip"
we stayed at the hotel for a few nights before departing on a cruise, fantastic location for the cruise port, we walked in less than 10 minutes (very easy to find). We also walked to many areas of the city from the hotel (we are sure footed but in our 50's) Bufet breakfast was a welcome bonus with yogurt, fruit, muffins etc and lots of juices and tea or coffee. The hotel went above and beyond when we returned from our cruise and had a whole day at a loose end until our evening flight. They took our luggage back in, and even said that we could go into the breakfast buffet if we wanted to, we declined as we had eaten on the boat, but had a quick orange juice before being able to take advantage of an extra day in Boston without having to drag our bags around :)
Travel one week a month and typically stay at different hotel chains, no longer the case! From the moment you walk in the door, it’s just different here, the lighting, the decor, the friendly valet, even the smell, just amazing. Room: so much space!! I mean I could relax on the l shaped sofa, get up and work from the office area, go and sleep comfortably in the glorious king bed, and not feel I was confined to one room! Perfect amount of lotions, towels, blankets etc. Staff: they make this place! I have never had the fortune of meeting such gracious hosts and friendly staff. The night clerk greeted me after a very delayed and late flight with the biggest smile, provided me guidance but then walked me to the refreshments and informed me of the complimentary breakfast (more to follow). The chef/cook Elena was a pure joy and greeted me and others as if we were here children coming down for breakfast. Mary, Matty, Michelle, and Ricky were some of the warmest staff I have met. They hooked me up with toothpaste, toothbrush and other necessities. We had chats and belly laughs each morning and they truly did set the mood for the day. Food: continental breakfast means something else here. Spacious kitchen and dining area with ample space so you can eat in comfort, the food was like no other free breakfast I’ve had. Every morning there was a slight change, boiled, scrambled, and fried eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, cereal, porridge, yogurt, juices, coffee, tea, all the pastries, and all this with a side of personality as each morning both cooks were singing along up the music and greeting all the early birds for breakfast. Location: during breakfast you may get to eat with your flight crew as airport is 15 mins away. Uber was easy and quick but only needed for airport as plenty of restaurants, bars, grocery stores, clothing stores, coffee shops, and gyms around. To Elena, Mary, Matty, Michelle, Ricky, and all the staff, thank you for making my Hyatt Place stay so memorable. I’ve already booked my next week long stay, see ye soon!…
Really enjoyed our short stay. Staff made us feel so comfortable. Bartender was great and past manager Kevin was there adding to the whole experience. Never met him before but you would think he knew us for a long time.
Staff was friendly, cooperative, and love to banter. Socialize with them to get the scoop around the area. Conveniently located in the seaport area, with lots of up and coming areas being built more around it. it's a small walk from the Seaport entrance, but the solitude is worth it!
Mary at the front desk was extremely helpful as was the entire staff, especially the cleaning staff. We traveled with a service dog and they made it very easy for us. The rooms were very spacious and affordable. There is so much to do around seaport and very close to silver/red line to get into other parts of the city. We enjoyed coming back to the hotel every night. It was very comfortable and perfect location.
