The Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston Seaport District is consistently celebrated for its spotless and contemporary rooms that amplify comfort with their spaciousness and modern amenities. Its family-friendly atmosphere and stunning views often receive high marks from guests. The hotel's prime location is acknowledged for easy access to local attractions, though some note limitations in accessibility and nighttime activities. While the value is generally appreciated, the cost of valet parking has been a sticking point. The commendable service and extensive amenities, including a fitness center and complimentary breakfast, enhance the stay, although there are occasional waits for services. Overall, the hotel's commitment to cleanliness, from the rooms to the common areas, has earned it considerable praise.

We only stayed for 1 night on our summer road trip. Went to a Red Sox game about 15 min Uber ride away. Didn’t read the fine print about the $60 valet parking for the night but guess it’s expected in the city. Minor prob with the AC cooling but called the front desk and someone was there within 5 minutes and had it fixed for a great nights sleep. Breakfast was really crowded but very yummy. Pool was very convenient and had a nice view. Next time we are in town I’d def book a room here again.

My husband and I spent one night here. Hotel is located in the newly developed seaport area, thus its little isolated. there is not much outside only some commercial buildings. Hotel is very new and beautiful, lobby is fancy. Our room is cleaned and comfortable. all the furnitures are cooly designed, our kitchen is well equipped with a big refrigerator and big microwave, with new cooking bowls, towels, can opener. Bathroom is a little small. Breakfast is free and nice with plenty of food. the only thing we don’t like is the Valet Parking for a $55 charge, its inconvenience and also the waiting area is not covered so guests get wet when they are dropping off / picking up cars.

Exceptional experience across the board, and we are HH members. This brand new hotel surpassed our expectations in accommodations, swimming pool, breakfast and atmosphere overall. They provided an outstanding breakfast, albeit there was no cut up fresh fruit, strong coffee, and a toaster that worked. Swimming was peaceful in a very clean, modern space, and the room featured everything you will need. We stayed during the week (because of our retired couple status), but it’s actually appears to be less expensive weekends.

Hotel is very new and very clean. One-night stay, nothing but great things to say. The rooms are great, everything you need. Charlie, the GM is very friendly and accommodating and ALL staff I encountered from valet, to front desk to housekeeping where all friendly and professional. Would highly recommend.

TIP: if you plan to cook/eat in the room, if you are looking for the basics such and plates and glasses check the dishwasher, not the cabinets. They do this to ensure everything you might use is recently cleaned and sanitized… there is a sticker/sign telling you this but easily missed.

PS this is the same hotel as the “Hampton Inn” same entrance parking etc… to the best of my knowledge the only difference is the rooms you are assigned depending on your booking.

On arrival to the hotel, valet parking staffs were very polite and welcoming even during the busy time in a day. Hotel staffs were always responding very quickly to our requests. Accessible to anywhere with vehicles. Overall, we loved the experiences with this hotel.

I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about but I thought our stay here over 4th of July weekend was great (minus the expensive and unnecessary parking expense at 55/ day which we did not pay). We stayed in a one bedroom studio king suite in room 1444. I'm not sure if we are upgraded or if this is regular view but we did have a small view of the harbor which ended up being really nice because we were able to watch the fireworks from our room as it ended up being a rainy 4th of July. We were traveling with our one year old and this hotel fit our needs.

Breakfast was nice and hot and is one the best breakfasts I've had at a homewood. There was a long line at the waffle maker station I would recommend having 4 stations on weekends to decrease the wait.

The con to this hotel is of course parking and the walkability of the location. It appears you are booking a hotel in the middle of everything but this hotel is actually a 15-20 minute walk from downtown and the walk can be kind of sketchy at night.

There is a dine in called yankee lobster ( I did not try it but saw on my walk) which looked pretty good.

There is a parking garage on dry dock avenue that is 35/day but rates start from 5 am so you will be charged 35.00 per day at 5 am even in if you get there in the evening. We saved money parking here and on the street which ended up being free for the 4th holiday.

Overall, nice pleasant stay:

Dear MSPtoATL, I am thrilled that you got to see the fireworks from your room. We have so many amazing views of the harbor, marina and seaport. I appreciate your feedback on the waffle station, we are always looking to improve and will review this as a team. I am also sorry for the parking fees, this is a continued issue in the Seaport with limited parking but happy that you were able to find accommodations. I hope you stay with us again and please try Yankee Lobster, they are amazing. Warm regards, Charlie

This hotel is BEAUTIFUL and Convenient. We reserved a suite which was on the 5th floor. The view was nice the room was very spacious with a full size fridge (no ice maker, but ice machine on the floor). Stove with 2 burners and full microwave. There is also a coffee machine that make 1 or 2 cups…the coffee downstairs is better and worth the trip down, coffee in the room is kinda ick. Breakfast is typical Homewood Suites fare…not great, but serves the purpose. Several options were available including Waffle iron to make your own.

There is a tap available that has beer, wine, and hard seltzer available, sold be the ounce with the purchase of a card at the front desk. Interesting gimmick, we spent $40 and got 6 drinks.it was convenient.

The suite was great, plenty of room. The bed was comfortable…HOWEVER, a very weird comforter situation that was kind of like 2 sheets with a pocket. They need to replace these. The worse thing about the bed is that the sheets did not fit the mattress. They were too small so one side or the other of the fitted sheet was constantly coming off. Please repurchase new sheets that fit the bed Hilton!!!

I saw in reviews that there were a few times that the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. The hotel is new, figured that it had been worked out. Unfortunately 2 of the 4 nights we were awakened by the fire alarm, thankfully not on our floor so we did not have to evacuate, but it does make for a long night! It would have been nice to have been offered some extra points or something to make up for the inconvenience. We did notice a few people rudely complaining….it’s not the front desk’s fault if the fire alarm goes off. Seems weird though, for all of the years spending times in hotels this is the first time we’ve ever experienced this.

All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The quality overall was high level, in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and amenities. The room was so well supplied that there was no need to call for anything to be brought up. The climate control was fully working. Plenty of outlets, which allowed me to leave my traveling powerstrip in the suitcase. During my stay of a few nights, there was never a need to call the front desk. Quite a wonderful thing, that.

If I were to nitpick, I would bring up the position of the hotel room safe, which in my case was placed rather high up on a shelf in the closet with coat hangers and the ironing board. I was able to reach it but the height made it hard to see the whole interior, even on tiptoe. Perhaps an easy fix would be to supply the room with a footstool, if not change the location of it somewhat lower.

The included hotel American breakfast buffet was well equipped with good refill / resupply speed, variety, a step above the standard hotel continental breakfast. Keep in mind though that breakfast ends at 9am, which is a bit on the early side of hotel breakfasts I have encountered. With shorter breakfast hours comes denser crowds of hotel guests waiting in lines, hastening the need to replenish the the coffee, and taking up seats in the dining area. Fortunately though, the dishes and utensils were of the disposable kind, which allowed flexibility of taking breakfast food to-go up to the room as an option.

Valet parking worked smoothly. Each call for the vehicle is made via text, with a message consisting only of the code that is on the valet ticket that is given to you. No need to wait for a human being to pick up a phone. Every such valet call went without a hitch. The vehicle was always ready when it was supposed to, and there was always a valet attendant on hand as needed to hand off the key within moments.

Common hallways, common lounge and waiting areas, elevators, everything was kept clean and well maintained, as would be expected of experts in hospitality.

A solid experience. Likely to come back next time in the area.

Everything felt like new in this hotel. Surprise that they offered buffet breakfast considering Covid times. I strongly recommended for families. They were also good details like they provided water bottles for free and also free masks.

As a Hilton Diamond member, I have stayed at many of the Hilton brands and this was one of my favorites. We were in town for the New Year and have never stayed in the Sea Port district. This hotel is relatively new and still in exceptional condition. We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite and were impressed with all of the amenities including 2 smart TV's, kitchenette, comfortable bedding and a very spacious shower.

The free breakfast has the typical buffet offerings including waffle iron, pastries, breakfast meat, eggs, yogurt, bread, etc.... Everything was hot and fresh.

The largest factor which separates this specific property from others were the Homewood Suites staff members. From the valet to the front desk staff to members of housekeeping and those working at the buffet, everyone was insanely friendly, helpful and well trained. This is an indicator of good hotel leadership and embracing the Hilton guest experience.

There are a large variety of restaurants within walking distance as well as shopping and public transportation. We scheduled a tour of the Harpoon brewery which was a 5 min walk from the hotel .
