I have traveled around the world and travel extensively for business, and I can truly say this was the worst hotel service I've ever experienced. After booking the reservation online, I called customer service to request a room type change on my reservation, request an early chec

Right at MGH and they give a discount rate for patients/ families if you call which was great. Not worth getting executive floor rate though it was supposed to offer a private lounge with snacks but they don’t have one also was supposed to offer 20% off dinner at hotel with that

Short walk to MGH. Medical rate is helpful. Staff are great. Deans List-great food onsite. Complements to the chefs. The servers-amazing. Although sometimes short staffed, those working rise to the challenge. Clean rms.

Booked here to have a comfortable place to stay during my daughter’s neurosurgery for a nap or shower. As I booked 2 nights, at 5 am the morning of check in, I tried to cancel the 2nd night’s reservation as we got indication she would be able to go home earlier than we thought.

I regularly stay at this hotel on visits for medical treatments. This visit was my 8th stay in less than 2 yrs. I continue to stay because I am highly satisfied with the accommodations. The staff is friendly. The location to Mass Gen Hospital is across the street. In all types of

Dear Gwen W, Thank you so much for your lovely review and ratings. We do have a great location next to the hospital as well as many Boston attractions. It would be nice if you could visit to just enjoy the city instead of having treatments. We do wish you the best with your health and hope to see you again. Be well, Polly

Do you have a discount for wedding guests in your restaurant. We are booked in Nov. for a wedding.
Best thing of course is to call the hotel. We enjoyed our stay simply because it was within walking distance to the Metro. Also, plenty of mom & pop eateries within three blocks. Clean rooms, excellent service. However, the restaurant on site leaves plenty to be desired. Way overpriced for breakfast, even by Boston standards, and in the early evening unpleasant odors emanating from the kitchen area. Beware if they're catering to your wedding party.

We have booked for Nov. for a wedding there at the hotel. Do you give any discount in the restaurant for the wedding guests?
I would agree that it is doubtful. Often you can get a discounted room rate but unlikely on food. However, there are lots of other choices within walking distance.

Is there a security deposit required for each night you stay?
No but you need to give them a credit card at the desk when you check in..they keep this on file incase you use anything in the room or charge dining to your room.

"Location is great to MGH, but the basic amenities are terrible."
"We were on the 10th floor, well above the usual city sounds (ambulance sirens headed to nearby MGH, car alarms), so it was quiet."
"Go some place else"
"Ask for a room up high, facing the Charles; expect to pay more."
"Stay elsewhere"
