The nicest and best hotel that has ever been in Boston. I have lived in boston for many years and this hotel is by far the best. I can not believe how outstanding the customer service is. I could not have asked for more

The rooms were very spacious and well kept. The staff could not have been more helpfull with both their advice on places to eat and things to see. If you can afford a little extra for hotel then this would be an excellent choice, it is well placed to visit the attractions and places of interest

The hotel is luxurious without being pretentious, which is an elusive quality in high-end accommodations. The wood finishes in the lobby are both luxe and minimal, and the lobby-level bar is cozy without feeling clubby. The staff is welcoming and gracious with none of the fussy self-importance that sometimes comes with the job. My room was spacious, spotless, and serene....

We recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton Boston Common during the 'Boston Marathon Weekend.' It was an incredible experience and we had a fantastic time, In short, I think this hotel has the best staff of any luxury property full stop. To level set the property: rooms and interior are nice. Not amazing, but exactly what you would expect from...

I recently stayed at this hotel again and had another great stay. The staff is among the best in the Ritz system. The lounge is great with top quality offerings and a helpful team. My room was very good.

Not the best ritz, or lounge. Hotel is in a good location, staf are generally nice, except to a lady that worked in the lounge who gave me a constant feeling that we are being watched by her ( my 6 years old took off her shoes and I guess it's not allowed there, but still there are ways to...

I stayed with the Ritz-Carlton for business and it was amazing! Everyone from the minute you walk in are so nice and very helpful! The rooms are amazing! They have a bath tub in each room which defiantly helps you relax when you are very busy with work! The room service was great and pretty fast! The food was also...

Visited the Boston area for a wedding and spent one day in Boston sightseeing. Hotel is centrally located. The weather was horrible - cold and snowing. The rooms were very nice and the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Overall, a very nice hotel (as to be expected).

I stayed here with my kids and it was nothing for them to do. They couldn't use the pool because kids under 18 we're not allowed in the health club. We were offered to use the Hyatt pool as an alternative which was a 5 minute walk. Definetly do not recommend bringing any small children here, there's nothing for them...

I was hesitant when booking this hotel based off of the bad reviews I had read, but they are all disregarded now. After staying here myself, I found that the staff was very friendly and more than willing to cater to any needs I had. They assisted with bags, handed me a hot chocolate and checked me in- all in...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
