This hotel is amazing! My girlfriend and I visited Boston in February. I'd let the hotel know in advance that we were visiting Boston for the first time, and that we'd be celebrating a birthday. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with very friendly and helpful front desk staff that let us check in early. Throughout our stay the hotel staff...

We could not have chosen a better hotel to stay in for the Boston Marathon. The hotel's location is great as you can just walk to a lot of the attractions in the city such as: Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market and Boston Common. Kimpton Nine Zero made us feel like we were home. A special treat was given to each...

I returned to Boston to run this year's marathon and as was the case last year, I stayed at the Nine Zero. There were plenty of my fellow marathoners there as well. This hotel knows how to treat us runners right! When you check in, you get a gift. This year it was a pair of special non slip socks...

This hotel is a great value. First a shout out to the valet team. They're the first and last people you see at a hotel if you arrive by car - and these guys were just outstanding. The location is great. I usually stay around the corner at one of my favorite hotels in the world, and chose the nine-zero...

I've been staying at this hotel every couple of years since it opened. It's showing its age. The core climate control vents are getting noisy, likely reflecting old machinery. It's enough to make me decide to experiment and stop going to this hotel. After trying two different rooms, I suspect it is a building wide problem. The persistent hum is...

I took my 11-yr-old to Boston for a sight-seeing trip. I'm not familiar with Boston, so I booked based on reviews and hoped for the best. The hotel was great and the staff were very helpful. The location could not have been better. It is smack dab in the middle of all of the historical sights we planned to see.

Just got back from this hotel. Stayed two nights. The stay started off a little rough. I was staying with a friend and his son for a couple nights in Boston. It was kind of a big deal being that it was the eight year old's first time to Boston. The hotel offered a great service in a welcoming email...

I visited this hotel as part of a group of 9 for the St Patrick day celebrations this year and although the place was nice the customer service was very poor. We were delayed in our visit as heavy snow closed Boston airport and most of the eastern seaboard of the United States. We tried hard to extend our stay...

Stayed for 2 nights and it was great. Had a room on the 13th floor with a nice view. Really liked the walk in shower (I don't like bath tubs). Sleeping comfort was good. I stayed over the weekend, so there was a bit more noise from late home comers, but nothing major. Did not try breakfast, or the bar...

Boston is an eminently walkable city and this hotel is right in the middle of all the action. You are just a short hop from the Boston Commons and the Freedom Trail sites are all in easy reach. We were able to easily walk to Chinatown and over to Little Italy on the North End. And then you combine that...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
