You can never go wrong with a Kimpton hotel and the Nine Zero hit all right spots. It's in a great location just two or three blocks in either direction to a T station and steps to Boston Common. Our room was a skyline view room with a view of the skyline from the Massachusetts State House to the Fenway...

A elegant, quiet hotel in a very well located spot in Boston. Fixtures, towels and linens are perfect. Free coffee in the am and breakfast room service was fast, reasonable and very good. The shower is so strong it will crinkle your eyelids!

Spent three nights at the Nine Zero and loved it. The room was beautifully decorated and fresh. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The iPad provided in the room was an extra bonus. The room was on the 16th floor and had the views of Boston Common and Cambridge. Highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was very small, but chic, clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were helpful and even offered to pour us a free glass of wine since we checked in just after the complimentary wine hour had ended. The location is fantastic – perfect for site seeing. The Granary cemetery is across the street, Boston Common is nearby and...

I had a business meeting for a night so I was hoping for something convenient to the business district, as well as some tourist attractions. The Nine Zero fit the bill. Located a block from the office, as well as a block from Boston Commons, the theater district, and a nice walk to the South End, or Copley Square, and...

This is a lovely boutique style hotel in the heart of the city within walking distance to all the major sights. Very friendly staff and the complimentary wine hour was lovely. We stayed in a sky line view queen. Comfortable and plenty of room.

Nine Zero Boston is a great hotel right in the middle of the city. We requested and received and early checking Friday around 1pm. The bellmen were very helpful hailing cabs for us. The concierge was informative and gave us knowledgable food and shopping recommendations. The room was stylish and most importantly clean. Can't think of any gripes, will stay...

Many years ago we stayed on the outskirts of Chicago and took mass transit into town to sight see. Well, once was enough of that! We chose this hotel for its location which is across the street from the Common. We were within walking distance of most of the sites. The good part was we parked the car on arrival...

Arrived around 10:30 am and the front desk was more than willing to check us in early (and also let us check out late). Super helpful with directions, special requests (pillows, fridge in room, etc.). The standard queen room was clean and spacious. The gym (3rd floor), although small, has updated equipment, free weights, cables—definitely enough equipment to get a...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
