Air a bit cold for a walk w/luggage from Logan to hotel, so a call to front desk brought me in touch with Porter - great guy, patient, walked me through catching the hotel shuttle while dealing w/other calls (I could hear). Thanks, man! Check-in, room, fitness room all great.
Recently stayed at the Embassy Boston Airport . The hotel and room were very clean. Hot breakfast included and there is a large lobby area for seating. It would have been nice to have bottled water offered in the morning. All hotel employees we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Some rooms with [distant] city view. The hotel provided 24 hr shuttle service to/from BOS airport. If driving there is limited parking, additional charges, at the hotel. I believe the parking is valet only. We hired a car prior to visiting Boston and dropped it at the Boston Airport car rental facility. From the car rental facility it’s a short, maybe 5-Minute walk to the hotel. Very easy, just around the corner. It would be equally easy to rent a car for a day trip from the hotel. The metro is a safe, short walk across a public park, 5-minutes. This is the Airport Station (Blue Line) and is two stops to downtown Aquarium Station, three stops to State Street station, so it was very easy getting into the city. Cost each way $2.40 unless you have a student or senior card. At the Airport Station, the metro rep was handing out free loadable metro cards. Once preloaded we could travel without purchasing a ticket each time. Very easy to connect, without additional charges, to other line to get to other parts of the city. There is not a lot of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but we walked about 20 minutes to find good cafe style restaurants and a couple of groceries. Most in the vicinity of Maverick Station. Although this hotel is removed from downtown, it is much more affordable with quick city access. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Boston.…
Great location close to the airport and only a few stops on the subway to downtown. I personally just got the airport shuttle to the airport subway station and walked to the hotel from the subway (less that 5 minutes with luggage). The hotel does do a shuttle but I overheard many times the front desk telling people who called to be picked up it would be 20-30 minutes. It look me less than 10 making my own way. Room was clean and functional, though a little dated. Initially I was assigned a room on floor 2 overlooking the central atrium. Avoid these as I found noise from the atrium (restaurant and bar) could be heard in the room. Staff moved me when I asked to an outside facing room. Breakfast had a good selection however be aware that on both mornings the ‘made to order eggs’ station did not start until 07:30-8am ish. Slightly disappointing that they don’t state that this does not start when breakfast does at 6am ish The other disappointing thing is that as the atrium is so vast it is quite chilly. That means any hot food, breakfast etc gets cold quite quickly. They either need that area heated better or serve piping hot food rather than ‘plate warm’. Pool and hot tub were nice, with a good size changing room. In the immediate area there are a few small grocery stores and it’s a short walk to the harbour/Piers Park. Seemed safe enough during daylight but the front desk did advise caution after dark. I’d certainly stay here again.…
Overall a very quality stay. Good breakfast, super clean rooms, and very friendly staff, but that was up until the last 5 minutes. We had left our luggage in the luggage room as we were out on the city that final day. Upon coming back and trying to grab our luggage, superhero Alex was there to try and protect the day. I left my suitcase with my backpack as well as did my friends that were with me and the strap was connected to both luggage and backpack, meaning I only had one ticket for both bags. Well while grabbing said luggage, Alex grabbed a hold of my bag and told me I am only allowed to take one bag since I only had one ticket despite the fact that they were both numbered the same and connected and I had to rip it from him to take it then as my friends tried doing the same as me, he kept us in the door and said its not okay to steal someone's luggage and kept them in there until they showed proof of something in the bag. Thank goodness Alex was there to accuse me of stealing my own luggage cause I do not know what I would have done if he wasn't protecting me from me. Overall ruined the whole entire stay and experience for him holding us basically hostage with our own belongings and accusing us of stealing. …
A definitely great experience. Far better and beyond our expectations. One issue in waiting for the courtesy shuttle at the airport but apart from that the hotel fulfilled our needs with smiles. Just beginning with an early check-in - my son and I arrived at Logan Airport at 8am - a spacious room with city views, a realisble Wi-Fi connection and a pool which, I dare say, you would better not to miss unless you wish to get fat experiencing the delicious and healthy morning breakfasts! Amazing
This stay was an absolute bargain. Five minutes to the airport, and you do not hear the planes at all. 5 min walk to the MTA station, through a park. Get on the train and you are in downtown Boston in five minutes. And if you have never stayed at Embassy before yes they are two room suites. Nice view of the city skyline and harbor from out room. And I really can not say enough about the breakfast BUFFET with made to order omelets, fresh fruit, I mean really everything you could want. I guess they did not have packaged pastries or grits, if you want that but they had everything else on the breakfast buffet. Oh yes and a shuttle that picks you up and takes you to the airport that is included. And it was a bargain price. I will not say the price just in case you do not get the priceI got but no matter it would be a bargain to stay here…
The night manager was excellent when my flight was canceled and we were given vouchers but the day manager Derek titled kicked passengers out in the morning and refused to honor Vouchers when I asked him if I could have an oatmeal after not using all the money . He’s refused I started to cry and he yelled at me told me I had to leave immediately and called the police. I’ve never had a more ridiculous exchange with a person who works in customer service.
Horrible Hotel and terrible customer service. The two ladies at the front desk are a bunch of liars because they only care about charging loyal customers $75 for early check in. I asked for an early check in and Elaine told there’s no rooms available whatsoever at all. I sat for hours waiting and saw many people leave and every time I asked for early check because I’m a Gold member she said no there’s no availability but for $75 fee there’s a room available for early check. It was Christmas Eve and I was with my wife and two little kids and I just wanted to check in and put our stuff in the room but they were so rude and bunch of liars. So we waited in the lounge area and the lady cleaning the area got upset at us and said I have to f&$%*ing leave so you need to leave. I have been to many Embassy suites before but this was by far the worst ever. They should rename it embarrassing suites and nasty disgusting rooms. …
Large rooms, but ours was run-down, with torn bedsheets and chipped furniture. Place seemed understaffed: we had a long wait for the shuttle and when we finally did arrive at the hotel, the front desk was unattended at a peak check-in time. Later, a single desk clerk emerged to handle a line of ten guests. Hilton needs to put some resources into this property. Staff seemed tired and short-tempered.
It was amazing to get to watch the planes from the room. Staff was wonderful and very helpful and kind. The rooms were beautiful and beds were comfy. We will definitely stay at this location again. It was so easy to get to the airport and the shuttle took us right there .
