The hotel is incredible, I was well attended by the receptionist, they were very attentive and helpful. I stayed for 13 days, the hotel follows strict rules of hygiene and social distance in this period of pandemic and with the use of mandatory mask in the entire area of the hotel. In the hotel you can use the gym but only one person at a time and the housekeeping service keeps the place clean before and after using the gym, for the next guest to use. The rooms are very large with a mini kitchen that can cook normally, the beds are very comfortable, very quiet rooms with little noise due to renovations on the street, but only during the day ... the breakfast service, you choice what you want and grab to eat at room or somewhere else. On some floors there is a washing machine and dryer, just use $ 3.50 coins and the same amount to dry. In the region there are incredible parks (City Square, Paul Revere Landing Park, Boston National Historical Park) where you can walk and run, but the region offers several options of restaurant, bakery, coffee .... and before view from the hotel room and from marina.... Excellent hotel and I hope to come back more often.

It was my family second stay at RI Boston Harbor Tudor Wharf. It’s conveniently located within walking distance to the center of the city, and very close to Cambridge, we managed to walk to Harvard university. The rooms are spacious and equipped with a complete kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, electric stove, microwave, glasses, plates, flatware, sink with garbage disposal). Service is nice and quick. WiFi signal is strong. Breakfast is nothing special but free. Sleep quality is great. There is no wow factor about this hotel (hence the 4 stars out of 5) but it’s a very good value.

There was a huge snowstorm coming in and I had to work the morning of the intensity of it, so instead of commuting an hour in from the Northshore, I got a room and was so happy I did for two nights! This is a prime location and during a storm and Covid intensity, I felt safe, clean and very well take care of. The bed was extra comfortable, the ability to walk to The North End and eat dinner as well as the BlackMoor being delicious and showing the Bruins was key. I also got the chance to check out the oldest bar in Charlestown, Warren Tavern! The ambience of the The USS Constitution from our window view into the Charlestown Navy Yard and her booms going off twice a day certainly added to the Boston feel! Being raised in MA, I sometimes forget just how awesome this city is. Walking the Freedom Trail with new eyes and 2021 vision...I truly appreciated my roots from this trip vs, if I had been stressed out commuting in. So, this spot is perfect for tourists and locals alike! Highly recommend it and Ryan the GM was unbelievably nice and knowledgable of the area. Definitely will be visiting again soon!

This hotel is in a wonderful location, right by a marina and within walking distance to Bunker Hill and the North End. The rooms are spacious and clean and having a full kitchen with an oven, full fridge and dishwasher is a great perk. Parking in ridiculously expensive and only valet ($50), but to be expected in Boston. There are two other parking garages in the same block that are cheaper ($28-$30). No more hot breakfast, but you can pick up cereal boxes, yogurts, bagels, etc to take to your room. Good variety and a clever alternative during the pandemic. A couple of things that could be better: laundry facilities are great, but too expensive - $3.50 per load is absurd and there is no housekeeping. While I understand the problematic logistics to provide this service I think this is something that should be prominently displayed when you make a reservation, in particular an extended one like ours, and upon check in, we should have been provided that information as well. One last observation, room furniture and cabinetry could use a freshening up. With one exception, all staff members have been courteous, friendly and helpful, in particular Luis and the ladies in the breakfast area in the morning. Will definitively stay here again.

I was primarily unhappy with the size of the room, the fact that I had made requests prior to arrival and did not receive a response for the request until AFTER my travel was complete. I also understand that many amenities could not be available during a pandemic but the cost of the room should have had some adjustments (much less money!) based on this factor. The room is extremely overpriced for what you are getting. The rooms are dated and there is visible wear and tear to the furniture. The drainage for the bathroom sink and tub was very slow. I am a travel agent so I pay attention to details. Every employee on property was friendly, attentive and accommodating. There were notifications all around reminding travelers to wear their mask, keep distance, keep elevator capacity to a minimum of two or families only, etc. I just did not feel that I received my money's worth for what I paid.

We stayed here on a family trip to Boston. We picked the hotel because of it's location right near one of the ends of the Freedom Trail plus the fact that the hotel offers two bedroom suites large enough for a family of 6.

Check in was convenient and easy. The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. She got us pool reservations (due to Covid) as well as provided us with information about the area and walking directions into the city. The room was clean and comfortable. The water view was really nice. The climate control worked well and we could get the rooms to a comfortable temperature. It was convenient to have two full bathrooms in the room as well. I thought the beds were overly soft and lumpy, but my wife thought they were great. I ended up sleeping on the pull out couch, which was pretty comfortable.

The grab and go breakfast was good in the morning. Plenty of options and the lady serving it was very friendly.

If you don't mind a little walking, this hotel offers a good value and a good location. We would stay here again in the future.

Service was excellent during breakfast and snack. The staff kept the offerings full and were very hospitable. Registration desk staff on 02/16/20 was very helpful and accomodating. The average rating for cleanliness is for the pool area. I noticed on Day 2 hair had come up on the floor from the drains in the pool area. On day 3 the pool area still had globs of hair on the floor. The room cleaning service was excellent. The only suggestion I have for the room is the location of the mirrors. We had a one bedroom king suite. The additional mirror was in the same room and adjacent to the large mirror in the sink area. The suite had a sofa bed in the other room where I children slept. Placing the additional mirror in the room with kitchen and living area (maybe across from the dining table) would have been better for our children to get ready rather than 4 people in the same area.

Excellent all around, especially Katie & Justin at the front desk. Everyone was exceptionally professional and friendly. Only suggestion - during pandemic would be ideal if the fitness room machines could be cleaned between guests using them.

There is some good. The good was the ability to check in early, the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the bed, the well stocked kitchen of useful kitchen items, a cooktop, good size fridge that
makes ice, living room chair was comfy, good coffee maker, size of room ( one bedroom suite) , quiet, lots of lights. We were traveling for our 12 year olds birthday. The hot tub did not work the entire time and the pool did not work on the day we left. We were planning on spending time in the pool. I know things happen beyond peoples control, but it seems that amenities these days are NEVER reliable. Marriott, I expected more. The kitchen floor was sticky, the microwave sticky, the pull out couch was horrendous. We waited for a very long time to get a blanket for the pull out, two are needed, then one was taken away during cleaning the next day and two more calls had to be made to get the blanket back!
I know staff is short, housekeeping on the way out, BUT this was not a cheap room. Breakfasts are disappointing. Everything wrapped, no more making your own waffles, no more giant container of bacon and eggs. The location of hotel is good. The new Charlestown bridge will put half of this hotel really close to the new bridge. The pool is small, but to be expected as it’s a city hotel. Families stay at places with pull out couches and pools, for those reasons often. Both those items need to be working and good. The window sills need cleaning, the false drawer in the bathroom counter fell off, one of the nightstand drawers looked like someone vomited in it and it was not cleaned well. We always pick Marriott for the reliability of the room and amenities, this Marriott is now off the list.

We certainly are honored to learn about your loyalty to our Brand, but we are highly disappointed our specific location fell short of the typical high standards set forth by Marriott. I appreciate your patience as we phase back to normal operations as managing staff has certainly been a challenge. We are diligently working to enhance our amenities and features and apologize we marred your trip, especially to celebrate your child's birthday! Your feedback is very important and will be discussed with our Management Team right away so that extra attention is given to these areas. While I understand your frustration, I ask for your reconsideration. I am confident we can restore your trust!

We were in Boston for the weekend doing college visits. We chose this hotel as loyal and long term fans of the Marriott brand. We had a nice suite overlooking the water and had a very nice stay at the hotel and the wonderful city of Boston. The cleaning and food service staff were all wonderful. The service staff that was responsible for the breakfast did an amazing job keeping everything fresh, stocked, and the area clean. When we were checking out I stopped by the front desk to ask about a few charges the front desk clerk was very rude and unprofessional. She was unable to answer my fairly straightforward question so she became frustrated and took this out on me. Rather than continue the unproductive conversation I asked for the manager. Unfortunately he was no better. He focused on his clerk interrupting the conversation and me engaging her rather than seek to understand the issue and attempt to resolve. Their names for reference were Lisa who worked at the front desk and Jeff was the manager on duty Saturday August 28th, 2021. The front desk clerk should not be interacting with people and the manager is not qualified to manage his staff or or customers. He could have quickly addressed an issue but rather allowed it to escalate and leave a customer with a bad taste for this hotel.

Thank you for sharing this valuable feedback and for your loyalty to our Brand. While we're pleased that our excellent setting, pristine accommodations, and friendly breakfast staff impressed you, we deeply regret that our front desk team failed to provide you with the caring, helpful service we always anticipate. What you have described is not typical, and we will be discussing your experience with our team to ensure that we do not fall short of our high standards for hospitality again. We hope that you will offer us another opportunity to restore your confidence, as we trust your next visit will be the five-star worthy getaway you expected and deserved.

The valet parking was full and was told to park in the adjacent public lot. Only paid $32. Thought it was safe. Agree that make sure you're not parking in a restricted area. Lots of spaces.
