We stayed here for the last night of a one week vacation. After staying In a nice but relatively small room all week it was so nice to spread out in the Residence Inn's large room. We walked here with our luggage from the North Station subway stop (green line). It was very easy to roll our suitcase on the...

Just returned from Boston where we stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Harbor on Tudor Wharf. Almost immediately upon arrival I felt unwelcome. My family and I checked in and I had asked for a high floor which was denied. When I asked why, Zoe at the front desk curtly told me that those floors are for rewards...

Great location with a short walk to Boston's North End and historical sites on the Freedom Trail. Also an easy walk to The Boston Garden and North Station for easy access to the T. Room was spacious and nicely appointed with a nice view of the harbor. Breakfast had great choices and offered something for everyone.

Staying in Charlestown

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlestown
Charlestown’s hilly roads, narrow streets and gaslight lamps, make it an enticing neighborhood to visit. Follow the Freedom Trail over the Washington St bridge from the North End or take the scenic water locks to Paul Revere Park. Walk through City Square and stroll down cute Main street, wandering up the windy residential streets to Monument Square, where you can learn about the city’s history along with a great view of Boston at the Bunker Hill Monument. While it’s not a huge area, there are some excellent restaurants. Find your way to the Charlestown Navy Yard, which is a developing area with lots of condos and an additional site for Massachusetts General Hospital research centers. Here you will also find the USS Constitution Museum. After you’re done, hop on an MBTA ferry at the dock on Baxter street and zip on over to Long Wharf and the New England Aquarium.
