Our stay was perfect, only two nights for a business project. The room was seriously comfortable (ironed bed linens!), high quality towels and great toiletries (shower wall dispensers), plenty of outlets and charger ports, micro-fridge, in-room coffee and tea (24-hours in lobby), comfortable side chair. HVAC and television controls responsive. Entire property was very clean. Eclectic decor was not fussy. Breakfast was very good. Hot items included eggs/omelets, sausage, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal. Good selection of bagels, breads, cereals, fruit, yogurt, juices. Area was well-attended and maintained by very friendly staff. Grab-and-Go bags available at the desk as was fresh fruit and evening cookies. (We especially appreciated adjoining restaurant, reviewed elsewhere). Housekeepers had professional appearance and friendly attitude, everywhere. A special "Thanks" to the young man who retrieved a forgotten coat from our room as we checked out. Complimentary shuttle runs to/from various city areas.
To note: it is next to a hospital so sirens are pretty much the norm although never sustained. We had a 4th floor room, and I suppose higher up might lessen the sound. We had no problem.

The staff of the hotel were great. They were very welcoming. We did in fact experience a problem with our room, and they were very apologetic and immediately made it right for us so the rest of our state was wonderful. The area is not in a touristy part of town, nor “the best” but it surely has the feel of many other busy urban areas. The security presence in the hotel was very visible. They were great and we always felt safe. The location is also 10 minutes or so from many great parts of Boston that you would want to visit so we appreciated the close proximity.

The stay started out good. There was a maintenance problem in the room that was taken care of right away. Breakfast was good but a 2nd waffle maker is needed. Requested towels were partially delivered & the remaining towel request didn’t arrive. The next day it took 3 requests & 2.5 hours later, still no towels. That evening we arrived back at the hotel to find the towels were left in the bathroom when we had a do not disturb sign in the door. Normally the towels would be left outside the door in a bag. Staff was aware we didn’t want anyone in the room when we weren’t there when we had made the maintenance request. They pushed personal items into each other on the counter with the towels. Small roaches were seen in the room, the carpet was torn where the door stop was missing & the toilet seat was loose. The shower head was very old, didn’t spray well & the tub drained but should drain faster. Reporting items to staff didn’t seem to cause any concern & a note was not written. Also, aggressive homeless people are in the area at the closest Mobile gas station across the street.

We really enjoyed our time in Boston! The rooms and common areas were clean and spacious. Parking was easy and close in the garage across the street. The cost of $25 per day (with in/out privileges) was low compared to other garages we saw in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful with all of our questions. One staff member took the time to help us understand the city bus system and which bus to take to get to our destination. The shuttle pick up offered by the hotel was easy to use and the driver was great! The location is not the best area of Boston (we opted for food delivery rather than walking to a restaurant at night), but other than that we had a great stay and would consider this hotel again in the future.

Horrible horrible horrible. The homeless situation was disgusting. People shooting up and smoking crack right outside our window. Hotel was dirty. Our first room had stains on the carpet and workers tools in the room with cracked tiles
I called the management office and spent 30 minutes discussing the problems. I was supposed to get a call back in 48 hours. I am still waiting weeks later. Do not stay here.
Free breakfast was ok but had one worker standing next to you watching you and commenting on your

This is a great hotel choice especially if you are visiting Northeastern or other schools / sites in that area of Boston. The location is very convenient and the room was clean and comfortable. The servicing by the front desk was excellent and so was the free shuttle service to Quincy Market (drop- offs and pick-ups are provided on the hour for several hours). That free shuttle service is a great feature (ask for Sadu, he is the best!) Parking is also available at the hotel. Buffet breakfast was very nice. Nightlife restaurants / bars are limited in the immediate area. There is an amazing Cuban restaurant attached to the hotel. We had a great experience here and we would come back again.

I’m not sure how anyone could rate this property more than one star

The area is terrible with substance abuse users all over the property.

You CAN NOT leave your property as it is unsafe

The property is adjacent to a hospital so you hear sirens and sounds all hours of the night. Also the adjacent parking lot is rat infested. We paid $25/night and would run every night from the parking lot to our hotel. My husband was spat on by a passerby that was clearly high on drugs. We felt unsafe at all times leaving and entering the property.
A security guard was there some of the time but mainly on their personal phones and not outside the hotel:

Breakfast was mediocre with eggs that came out of a can.

No water pressure in the showers and wifi was down the entire duration of our trip. We paid a rate that any high end property in Boston would have charged to be surrounded by filth and a unsafe property. Do not recommend to anyone staying with children or young adults.

Simply appalling that Hilton would even have any association with this property.

Hotel staff was uninformative and never explained the etiquette for using the parking garage resulting in me being double charged for my 8 hours there, totaling $65. Convention and tourism fees are added to your bill even if you don't use them. The breakfast was mediocre, with equipment malfunctioning, compared to the hundred other Hamptons I have stayed in. The elevator was similar to riding something from a fair never knowing if it was going to work properly.

We arrived late on a Saturday night having walked from the local bus stop. The immediate impression was that the area was extremely run down with a lot of homeless people and drug users milling around the area, especially in the vicinity of the hotel. It was quite unnerving to say the least.

Check in was a seamless exercise with a pleasant member of reception staff who let us know about the hotel’s facilities. Our room was very nice with a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, good hot drinks making facilities and a nice view to the south of Boston. The only issue is noise as the hotel is next to a hospital and there are sirens all night and there is a helipad near the hotel. The general traffic noise is also evident all night. There was a lovely sunrise to see each morning.

The breakfast was excellent with some lovely Strawberry or vanilla waffles as well as the usual cereals, pastries and hot choices which seemed to rotate every day. The breakfast area is nice and the staff were attentive and really lovely.

Through the day the area is much better and there is less feeling of it being unsafe although the sheer amount of litter left around the area is disgusting (not the hotel’s fault obviously). We did see a street sweeper one morning tidying the area up. One big problem is the distance from the Subway, a minimum 15 minute walk to Massachusetts Avenue station. This would be fine if it wasn’t for the area after dark. At 5pm it felt threatening.

Sadly after a Celtics game on the Monday night we were walking back to the hotel from the Subway after 11pm and due to feeling very uncomfortable with the people around we decided that as we would be out for our Wedding Anniversary the following night and we want to go out at night we’d book another hotel in another area for the remainder of our stay which turned out to be the right choice.

We explained to the staff that it wasn’t the hotel but the area and if we could pick the hotel and its staff up and move it to a nicer area then we would be giving the hotel 5 stars. The receptionist understood and I suspect they get this happening quite a lot.

Basically if you don’t have to walk around the area at night and are ok sleeping through the sirens and helicopters then you should be fine here. If not then I regretfully wouldn’t be able to recommend this hotel as lovely as it and its staff are.

Ok lets get the obvious out of the way. This hotel isnt in the best part of town. There are a lot of homeless that congregate in this area and all around the entrances. But that being said, the hotel has 24 hour security and at no point in my 5 night stay did i feel unsafe. In fact the opposite. The security and staff was very polite and nice and do a great job at meeting the Hilton standard. The shuttle drivers were both amazing and VERY helpful. The rooms were comfortable and housekeeping did a good job. The connected Cuban restaurant was good for a nice dinner or a quick beverage before bed. Breakfast was as you expect and the 24 hour coffee was always hot at anytime of day/night. The shuttle has ideal drop off locations that make the city walkable from the dropoffs. Only other negative I had was the pool was ICE cold and just not my "cup of tea". at that temperature. Overall I would likely stay here again as the only negatives were outweighed by the positives.
