Hotel's Favourite
Stayed here as part of a corporate event to the US Open. Very lovely hotel in a converted historic building. In downtown and close to Back Bay and the common. Rooms on the small size but nicely appointed and clean. Good food and drink at the bar/restaurant. Overall a nice choice.

The hotel is in an excellent location near Newbury St, Copley Sq and Boston Commons. Hotel is good value. Rooms are clean and comfortable and modern. Beds very comfortable. Shower pressure needs improvement though. Only minor complaint is that there’s no complimentary drinking or filtered water available except for in gym.

Very comfortable beds, rooms was very clean, and extremely quiet!! Front desk staff were wonderful and everything was great overall. We ate dinner in the restaurant, it was great. Breakfast wasn’t the best, but convent to go downstairs.

Excellent location and friendly staff from the valets to check in. Love the comfort of the common areas and the 24h coffee and tea availability. Free wifi worked consistently and USB access in the room was easy to access. Quiet hallway and room even though they were at capacity- definitely stay again.

The best location. 10 mins walk from different T stations, from major shopping areas and restaurants. The building is the old Boston Police Headquarters. Classy decoration. Free coffee at the lobby. All the staff was superb. Will definitely try to come back!

We are fortunate to be at the corners of Berkeley and Stuart in Boston's Back Bay and just a block and a half from Amtrak in Back Bay Station. I experienced the most outstanding service from the time my taxi pulled up to the time I checked out. After a stressful day of travel, I was greeted straight out of the taxi. Gentleman was friendly, took my bag straight in for me, and introduced me to the lovely lady at the front desk. Check in was seamless. I ordered room service for my dinner. Meal was brought up very quickly. Food was hot and very good. Server was super kind. The next morning, I was treated with impeccable service yet again. Breakfast was delicious. I felt pampered during my whole stay.

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel AKA Back Bay. We were welcomed by the doorman /valet who gave great directions on how to retrieve our vehicle, he informed us the price to park and the guidelines. We were met in the lobby by Heather who remembered me from my last stay. Ryan also greeted us warmly. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Mike at Precinct Bar was warm and gave great service. We came to Boston for other reasons, but our hotel stay made it an even better experience. Thank you for a wonderful 24 hours away from home. We will be back!

The staff at this hotel was one of the friendliest and most accommodating we have experienced in our travels. From the moment we stepped into the beautiful Back Bay building which originally was home to a police precinct station, we we welcomed and the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. The location was definitely perfect, with all the town's main attractions within walking distance. The rooms were very quiet and lovely, and we slept like babies in the super comfy beds. This will definitely be our go-to hotel for future Boston trips!

This was a lovely 12-hour stay in Boston. The valet check in was the warmest we have ever received. Reception check in was equally friend. The entire staff went out of their way to be kind and warm and funny. We stay in Boston hotels at least once a year and this was our first time at AKA. It has easily risen to the top. Can’t wait to be back. Kudos to the leadership team!
